I have seen similar items before with a code for opening/locking. This one ups the ante by having a fingerprint feature. It is great for kids who feel very grown up having a 'proper' safe. My twin 5yr old nephews absolutely loved it! It has a big capacity but be careful with coins as they do have a tendancy to fall out when the safe is opened. Notes would better and the feeder is really clever and works like a reverse ATM machine. I think its a great gift idea that is practical and functional and a little bit unique!

My daughter loves this pink safe, it has cool features and she is always excited to put money in. She is only 4yrs old though and so not quite understanding the entire concept. We left the original password of 0000 as it is easier for her to remember, but that can be easily changed if you wanted. Note that the pasword will revert back to default when changing the batteries. This would make a nice gift for any child and can help them understand money and savings, also maths and other skills. Functional design, sturdy build and good value for the price so am happy to recommend.
