1791's lady Women's Victorian Rococo Dress Inspration Maiden Costume

I am a teacher in an elementary school and my favorite part is dressing up for the holidays. I bought this because of the value for the price, the color, and style. The color was very rich and the size was perfect. There were no zippers to mess with, as it laced up the back. It was a nice soft fabric, but it had very little stretch to it. I was exactly what I wanted, and I would recommend the purchase. I’m looking forward to changing it up and wearing it again, maybe next time as a vampire, or throw on a powdered wig. Great versatile costume.

I bought this for Halloween and was pleased with the overall quality for the price. Similar style costumes at Spirit were $10 to $20 more. I ordered 3X and the sizing was generous, but the lace up ribbon in the back cinched in the excess. It was also very long on me and I had to take up the hem, but if you’re tall it will work for you. The fabric is synthetic but soft, the colors and pattern were right mood a Victorian gothic feel.

It's a good dress, it's pretty overall, and the design is just what the picture looks like. The proportions are good, but it's a bit too long. You will need an underskirt to make it more poofy and to make it stand out. It's a good dess to be the Queen of Hearts, which is what I bought it for!

This dress is beautiful! I felt like Queen Charlotte and received so many compliments. Price is great and it is well made. The four level hoop skirt filled it out beautifully!

Firstly - I am about 5 6' and weigh more than I should - I have a belly and am about 20 lbs over my ideal weight. My bra size is 38-40 D. I got this dress in a few colors and sizes in order to see what worked best for me and knew I would return the rest. The best part of my experience apart from the fabulous quality - is the seller's customer service which I will get to after telling you about the dress itself.I ordered the red, blue, and purple. The large fit but was a tad too tight and very hard to get on and off. The XL is perfect. The fact that there is a tie in the back makes this perfectly adjustable. I ordered a hoop skirt as well and that makes a huge difference in the look. Once I put the hoop on, it made the whole dress flare out and looks amazing.The quality is superb. I need this for a costume but this is definitely not your regular cheap costume material. Very beautifully made with attention to detail and the design is stunning.I returned the ones that didn't fit and although at first I was sure I wanted the purple one - I ended up liking the blue much more. But, the blue one wasn't prime and I needed to get it within two weeks. When I added it to my cart the dates given would have been after the event I needed it for. So - I emailed the seller and asked if I would get it on time (basically giving them 2 weeks to ship to me). They replied within hours and said yes, it would arrive on time.So - I paid $8 for shipping (not the expedited shipping amount of $24) and not only did I get it within the two weeks - but it actually showed up within one week!I adore the blue dress and the seller customer service is exactly what you want from a good seller. Will definitely buy from them in the future if I need anything like this again.If you're hesitating bcs of size, quality, service...don't!! You won't be disappointed. Size: M Color: Purple & BlackI bought this dress for an outdoor Dickens event. It was an unusually mild temperature, so I didn't wear an overcoat, but under normal winter events, I would need one.The dress is very good quality, especially compared to more expensive themed dresses that I have previously purchased. The sleeves were tight on my upper arm, but that's my only complaint. Otherwise, the fit was perfect. As the picture indicates, I did wear a hoop skirt under the dress.The dress ironed-out nicely from shipping. The bottom got dirty from the event. I have since washed it and dried it with my normal laundry. It washed/dried great. I'll only be wearing it once a year, so it will not be heavily used.I do recommend this for someone looking for a reasonably priced Victorian outfit.

This dress really is beautiful and the sizing was dead on!But a few of the loops for the lacing in the back popped out. Those will need some reinforcement!
