Necessary for your Nescafé Frappe
So I went to Greece and loved the iced coffees there with the foamy top and evaporated milk so I decided to make it at home. Nescafé Classico is the closest powdered coffee but be warned, it doesn't froth up the way the real Greek dried coffee does. Still, it works okay, and this shaker is good for it because of the little flap on top. To get that lid on and off it needs to "burp" a little air. There is no other way to get it on and off, so there is nothing in my kitchen to substitute. Now another way to make them is to use an electric frother and I did try that too, but it doesn't get nearly as foamy. So this is what you want to make a Nescafé Frappe at home. (If you are new to this, look on YouTube for recipes and demos.)

After getting back from my honeymoon in Greece I was so needing my daily fix of a frappe. I came across this product and thought to myself can it be. Well the answer is yes. It's easy to use and just watch the video and you will be making a frappe in no time tasting like Greece.

Defective merchandise and NOT RETURNABLE !
First of all the product is too small . The container capacity is not sufficient for a satisfying beverage ...unless you transfer it to bigger container.Second i am returning this item because it is leaking when shaken....and lastly which is the most disappointing factor , ITEM IS NOT RETURNABLE! therefore now I am stuck with a defective item . I hope someone assumes responsibility and this decision is reconsidered.

Gets the job done.
Not a bad product to get your Frape fix quickly. A little smaller than expected, but acceptable. Has a nozzle, but I don't think its for drinking...more for pouring.

How to make a real Greek frape from a Greek.
For those of you that want to make a frape like they drink in Greece, you should look into machines like the drinkmaster etc. They are about $10.00 more and make a true frape. When making a frape in Greece, the general public want 2 teaspoons of nes clasico instant and 3-4 teaspoons of sugar. Add cold water and total should be about 2 inches in the cup including the water. Use the machine on the high setting ( usually only has 2 settings). As you are mixing it, move the cup back and forth, side to side for about 15 sec. and then as you are almost done and it's still mixing, carefully pull your cup down and turn off machine before cup is pulled out. If you want more foam, mix a few sec more. Use your own cup and not the metal cup included with machine. Add water slowly to your cup and not directly in the middle to not disturb the foam. Foam should be a light tan color and smooth texture. About 1 inch of foam. last step, add ice and only about 2-3. Greeks enjoy their frape and take hours to finish one, so if you add too much ice, it becomes too watery. From a Greek who owned a cafe in Greece. 🇬🇷
