Ready for Hurricane Season
I haven’t had to use this emergency radio yet, but I’m already impressed with everything it offers. It’s packed with useful features like NOAA weather alerts, AM/FM radio, a solar panel, hand crank, rechargeable battery, flashlight, reading lamp, and even a USB charger — everything I’d want in a survival situation. I feel much more prepared going into hurricane season (I live in South Florida) knowing I have this on hand. It’s compact, well-designed, and seems like a smart addition to any emergency kit. Hopefully, I won’t need it — but it’s great peace of mind to know it’s ready!

Will probably buy a few more for family members
I have used this a lot more than I thought I would. The radio reception is very nice. The radio quality is the same as any other radio. We have actually used it a few times in real weather emergencies. It is portable enough to carry along in the car or take camping. It's easy to set up, and the hand-crank charge is definitely a plus. For Emergency use, I would recommend this to my family members and friends. Good clarity too.

I PURCHASED THIS IN PREPARATION FOR HURRICANE SEASON THIS YEAR...
Durability:Nice weight to it. Portable:Just the right sizeWhy did you pick this product vs others?:My first weather radio so I can't compare to other products, but everything is as it was described in the product details. Clarity:Sounds good. I couldn't locate AM channels though. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because, the radio station channel tuning knob turned hard.

Will be refunded so changed rating to 5
Quit working within 5 to 6 weeks which it wasn’t used that whole time. It charged. The screen lights up, shows everything it’s supposed to. Battery life, radio station and volume on the highest it could go, and there is absolutely no sound out of the radio. It was great the first four or five times I used it and yes was long periods of time then the next time it cut off and I was like well maybe something bumped against it or it’s not as fully charged as I thought it had 3/4 of a bar of battery. So that wasn’t the issue. They have absolutely nothing on their site about troubleshooting this other than simple instructions about where the volume is and how to turn it up. You go on the site to look at frequently asked questions and all the answers are in a different language. This was a complete disappointment and I’m past the 30 days because who’s gonna use it every single day to really know

Be sure to look up your local frequency
Great value and loud alarm. I got this because I am scared of going to sleep at night when it’s storming because I know my phone won’t go off loud enough to wake me up.THIS WILL THOUGH!It’s very loud, the only downside to this is that you have to look up your local emergency frequency. I’m still not sure I’ve gotten it correct.

Great product
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great to have in case of a power outage. We tend to have a lot of storms where I am located and we never know if we will have power or not. Thinking of getting another one in the future.

A must for going days without any services! Wish we had it in 2024 hurricane season.
Hubby loves this new device. It's not a toy, but a necessity in our hurricane zone. We didn't have one last year & this year we will not repeat that error. Time only will tell how durable it will be, as with most everything. It's small thus easy to carry. Several options besides the crank to use the radio and the light that's built in is bright.

A Great radio, BUT..........
I would really like to give this radio 5 stars but just can't. On the plus side it is a well designed and made unit, nothing flimsy or cheap about it. Definitely quality. All the functions work well and as a camping tent radio it will be a great addition to my tent. The issue I have with it is it's poor performance on receiving AM radio stations. I compared it to a Panasonic RF-2400D (a current model) which I have that performs well on AM. I live in central Connecticut and the big 50,000 Watt New York City AM stations come booming in on the Panasonic but are not received at all on this emergency/weather radio. To be fair, the Panasonic is strictly an AM/FM portable without any of the special features of the emergency radio but if AM is important to you consider the Panasonic, a solid performer. This emergency radio worked very well on FM and the weather channels. I did not try the short wave features at all. Poor AM performance is not unusual for radios these days and if it's not important to you, then you will really like this little radio.
