Gloves In A Bottle Shielding Lotion 8oz for Dry, Cracked Skin

I have very dry skin and poor circulation so throughout Autumn-spring my hands are constantly cracked and bleeding. I go through moisturisers very quickly and have tried many brands. Gloves ina bottle was recommended to me by a friend and delivered very quickly. The cream no real scent and a little goes quite a long way- not as much as Neutrogena but better than other moisturisers. The difference with GIAB is that it seems to deeply penetrate the skin and leave some sort of protective layer, but without being greasy/slimy like other moisturisers. I try to moisturise after every handwash and I found that this lasts to some degree through several washes, making it good for when you're out for an evening. It's expensive so I only use it when I go out, and I am happy with it for that purpose. At home and work where I can re-apply regularly I use a regular moisturiser. It didn't clear up my cracks but may have helped to slow the development of new ones. I haven't tried using it working outside instead of gloves because it's still too cold to do that. I think those people who complained that it wasn't actually like wearing gloves had unrealistic expectations. It's a bold name for the product but don't take it literally, this product does offer a degree of hand protection that other hand creams do not.

Until quite recently I have worked as a contract cleaner, using different types of chemicals, for diferent applications, and my hands are in water on daily basis. My skin on my hands were coarse, dry and definitely not smooth to the touch. Running my hands down fabrics would snag. I tried many types of hand creams from the cheap, to the not so cheap. Some worked for a short time, but as soon as I emersed them into water/chemicals back to stage one. And yes I did use gloves, but not always user friendly as these left their own problems behind, and ripped very easily letting in any liquid I may have been using at the time. My hands are also much effected when working in the garden. leaving them very rough and not at all pleasant when eating out.THEN ONE DAY!!! surfing the web for (hopefully) a possible remedy, there was this blue bottle, "Gloves In A Bottle" I read the reviews, purchased 2x240ml bottles from Amazon site. The rest is history. Fantastic is the correct word for this product. My hands no longer snag on fabrics etc, skin feels like skin should feel, I am over the moon. I've only been using this a few days but I'm already impressed. It goes on light and smoothly and it doesn't feel like my skin is being clogged like so may other hand creams. A little really does go a long way which makes it a really good price too. I've only used it on my hands up to yet because I have very sensitive skin on my hands from deally with lab based chemicals and I suffer from very bad chillblains/Reynaud's syndrome yet I have had no irritation whatsoever when I've used the cream. It has instead left my hands feeling soft and cared for. I have high hopes that come the winter, when my skin issues are far worse, that I may just have found somethibg which will stop me cringing every time a particularly painful area gets knocked.

This stuff works really well but you have to be patient as results only start showing after a few weeks use. My hands feel very soft for a 68 year old. I was recommended this by a skin specialist.

This is the only product that helped my dry cracked hands! My skin has been so dry from daily life - washing the dishes, using cleaning products, using nappy cream for my toddler etc. This provided almost instant relief and left a non-sticky residue on my hands leaving them protected. I used this daily for a month but now I don’t need to apply it at all. I don’t know how it works but it’s incredible and I know that if my hands go back to being sore and cracked I can use it again for quick and effective relief.

Hi, I read reviews on this product before purchasing it They said that if you have very dry rough hands then this product was like a miracle cure to soften hands in a way that no other cream on the market could do. I purchased a bottle and have tried for a few days applying three to four times a day. I found that it does not make the slightest bit of difference to dry skin on the hands and I would not purchase again just for the hands. There are many other more effective creams on the market such as Diprobase cream which is non allergic to the skin and available from the chemist. However "Gloves in a Bottle" is useful if applied on the face as it is light and non greasy, so I would certainly recommend for face but not for dry rough hands.

A miracle product! & IT WORKS!! The skin on my hands were always awful cracked, dry & sore. I work with my horses & I do other manual jobs outside. No other creams have worked for me, trust me I’ve done & tried them all!! I’ve put this on every morning before I’ve left the house & done another application at lunchtime. It’s worked wonders for me & I'm now proud of my hands, they now look normal, clean & they feel so soft. Instead of getting people commenting that they look awful they now comment that they look so healthy.

Feels really moisturising, not at all sticky when worked in. I see why they call it glove in a bottle it does appear to coat your hands, trapping in moisture and protecting. Not at all irritating, for me at least, I do have very sensitive skin.

Gloves In A Bottle funktioniert sehr gut beim Schutz meiner Haut und verhindert, dass sie reißt und unfreiwillig scheuert. Ich habe schon so viele Produkte probiert - antimykotisch, antibakteriell, entzündungshemmend, sogar eine Salbe, die alle drei hat, und sie haben nur meine Haut vor Schmerzen bewahrt, und die Risse und Schlacken bleiben. Das macht mich unsicher, wenn ich Leute treffe und ich muss ihnen die Hände schütteln und sich sorgen, was sie denken. Es stellt sich heraus, dass mit meiner Hygiene nichts falsch ist, und meine Haut ist sehr empfindlich in Bezug auf bestimmte Chemikalien. This is the BEST hand lotion because it's not at all oily. A few seconds after using it on your hands you can finger-tap on your phone and it won't leave any oily marks. Plus, it really makes dry hands feel smooth and moisturized. However, it does come off when you wash your hands with soap and water. I've seen some reviews here that say it doesn't, but they must do 3 second hand washes! It doesn't clump, it pumps out smoothly, and it lasts a long time because you don't need to use very much.
