Pillow covers made of 70% Ramie and 30% Cotton at an affordable price...WOW! These pillow covers are absolutely gorgeous. Ramie is a plant derived fabric similar to linen and/or cotton. It is thinner, but still very durable and strong. I haven't seen it used much since it is usually so expensive...but these covers are not expensive at all. They are reasonably priced and, again, gorgeous. I bought the 18x18 in Cream White. I washed them by hand and hung them to dry - ramie dries much faster them linen. They came out with lines in them. I was going to say wrinkles, but they are not at all wrinkled; they just have creases or lines all over them...but when I put my pillow insert in, the fabric stretched, and the creases became less visible. These covers are the nicest that I own. Cream White is the natural color of ramie, so I probably won't buy more, but you never know!! As an aside, I gave them a one-star rating for softness since ramie/cotton is not particularly soft, but I bought them for show on my sofa, not to sleep on.07/01/2024 Update: I now have these pillow covers in natural (2 sizes), olive green, hazelnut and navy. The only problem I've had with them is that the navy ones bled very badly, but after washing them with a colorfast detergent, they seem to have stopped bleeding and are a beautiful indigo blue which complements my quilt beautifully. I do love these pillow covers!!

This pillow is really great and has a nice linen texture to it. I like the color. The only problem is that it picks up hair so easily.

I bought the olive branch color which is exactly as displayed on the website. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

The outside is beautifully finished, it has a kinda weak but inconspicuous zipper, the color is as depicted and the texture is great. However you can only wash these one time before the inside fibers start to fray. I will upload pictures shortly. There's a tech issue to reach my gallery of pictures.There's no secure stiching on the inside and sooner than expected the fibers will fray.I washed mine outside out, zipper closed, on a short gentle cycle and the inside turned into a mess.There are only two simple stich lines on the outside. No interior stiching was made with a serger machine. They won't last unless you find the way to stich along the inside (which is impossible because the fabric is cut to the limit) or glue a cotton ribbon along the tiny flaps on the inside.Recommendations: Glue a ribbon on the inside, wash on the outside with the zipper closed. Put the covers in a mesh bag on the most gentle washing setting. Maybe doing all of above would make them last. I'm planning to glue the ribbon before the second wash. It's my only option.You'd think experienced workers would do a well finished job, specially when working with linen!!!To the manufacturer: if your not gonna secure the fabric before putting the pieces together the way the should be at least leave some fabric so the consumer can do it or could glue additional material to control the fraying.You're describing the item as:"【Design with Flange Edges】This boho pillow cover is design with Flange at edges to avoid fraying " IS NOT ACCURATE!!!.

Love these pillowcases! Gorgeous green - exactly what I wanted. True to size and soft, good quality. Zipper already ripped a little bit in installation, but maybe I wasn’t careful enough. I would get these again, in other colors!
