Ecover Non-Bio Laundry Liquid Refill, Lavender & Sandalwood, 5L

I have been buying this for many years now. The smell isn’t overwhelming and leaves a nice scent that I like. It’s skin friendly so hasn’t caused any issues. It cleans well and as it’s a liquid you can add as much or as little as needed. Non-bio formula is good for the septic tank and like all Ecover is environmentally friendly. Buying in this big 5L bottle means it lasts ages, is great value for money and can be decanted into smaller bottles for easy use.

We changed from powder to liquid and it was a great decision. Have tried other laundry liquids, but this is the best and we are sticking with it. Great results, removed stains easily. Doesn't fade colours leaves clothes soft. Great value buying in bulk.

I have been using this laundry detergent for a number of years and since the first time I used it, it was love at first wash. I alternate between the lavender and eucalyptus and the lavender and sandalwood. My god, the smells are heaven! I have really bought into the ECO situation --I feel like an environmentally friendly person when I use this laundry detergent... maybe i's because of the whole ethos of the company (I have definitely joined the revolution!). More pragmatically, this laundry detergent has worked very well for me in terms of cleaning power, leaving my clothes smelling glorious but not overpoweringly so (love it!) and also because the detergent seems gentle on my clothes and leaves them feeling soft (I do not use fabric softener). Also, I have found this detergent does not make my skin itch, which happened once with a very established brand. Would recommend 100%

An environmentally friendly and effective product that has not let me down in the dish cleaning department. I have not noticed any difference in the effectiveness of this over any other mainstream brand. Yes, it is dearer, but buying in bulk offsets that to a degree, especially with its green credentials. I consider this good quality and value, and so long as you don't go wild with the amount used, this will last a long time. I have no adverse skin reactions with this, or any of the Ecover products. I can even use the washing-up water in the garden; something I would never do with ordinary washing-up liquids. That helps save water, too. Now, the size may be an issue for some users, especially when first used and or to decant into smaller vessels. It has a spout which limits the rate you can empty the liquid. And whilst this means you get far less drips and wastage, you do need to hold the container up longer to pour. But for me, that is a small price to pay for a bulk buy and saving packaging waste.

I really love the scent of this laundry liquid! It's great to know it's environmentally friendly and biomass-free, which is a big plus.

I never use anything else. It's good for sensitive skin and not over perfumed which is better for me.

I have been using Ecover Non-Bio washing liquid for a few years now and usually wait for it to be on offer in my supermarket before purchasing. However, when I saw by chance you can buy in a 5l bottle at a much cheaper price than the regular supermarket price, plus the advantage of never running out when bought on subscription, I had to try this out. It definitely works for me! I adore the gentle fragrance and now when I smell people's clothes that have been washed in highly perfumed washing liquid it turns my stomach - all those chemicals!! I always get a good and effective wash and if I do need a bit of help, I throw a handful of Sodium Bicarbonate in and it works like magic. I don't have sensitive skin but I find the liquid to be gentle and caring to the skin too.
