i am not usually excited about dishes - times have now changed- i am super excited about this set
I had to force myself to update my kitchen ware in relation to pots and pans, along with silverware and now plates and dishes. I live by myself, so I do not need an elaborate set or a large count of plates, due to it being just me with the occasional guest or two. I had been using a solid red stone based set for a few years along with an old school retro plate set from a parent that also had s fun nostalgic theme attached to it with late seventies early eighties brown and tan color and patterns on it.I was thinking about updating my plates and dishes to a set that had a bit of character to it, but the question was how to go about that.I did not have to browse around too long before finding the answer, with this nice set of twelve stoneware pieces from the Stone Eden brand. What made this stand out for me, was the color which looks more like a texture, along with the gloss.I have never owned a glossy plates and dishes set before, so the gloss then fused with the nice looking dark blue color or pattern, present what looks to me like little sculptures or little works of art in the form of a plate and dishes set.If you stand above the plates and look at them, they look like sections of some majestic ocean. I like how the blue changes in intensity as the circle of the plate moves outward giving it a cool looking visual effect.I am giving this plate and dishes set five stars because its now my favorite set.

Eden Plates: Nice, very nice stoneware
I got the Stone Lain Eden 12-Piece Dinnerware Set Stoneware, Beige to replace a set of white plates which had become light gray through use over the years. I showed the Eden plates and bowls to my wife, and she said, “Nice, very nice.” She added, “Let’s get rid of the white and green plates now.” The Eden plates are a welcome upgrade over the plates that we have used for way too long. The best features of the Eden set are:1. Each piece has heft which adds a feeling of luxury.2. The craftmanship is exquisite – just the right sense of quality for company.3. They are dishwasher safe and should last a lifetime.4. They are flawless – a nice feeling when one uses them. Please note that the design of these plates is different from “traditional” plates. The Eden Stone Lain plates have flat bottoms – there is no curvature on the bottom nor the eating surface. The large and small plates have a raised rim – a smooth lip – whereas most traditional plates do not have a flange. These differences are aesthetic choices – I imagine that the raised edge will keep peas from rolling off my plate. The plates are sensational! I granted them five stars.

Nice Dinnerware and Pairs Nicely With Other Pieces
I really like having a black set of dinnerware. I can pair it with other dinnerware for an ecletic look that gives a totally different vibe to a place setting. It looks great together as a set, as well. The black color and plain style lends itself in so many ways that in my opinion it really should be a staple set in everyone’s collection. This set is a nice weight of pottery. It is made well and has good even glazing. It is not very shiny which I like because it allows me to pair it with other pieces in a subdued way. It washes up nicely (I hand wash) and stacks well for storage. The pieces are a good size and typical to many other dinnerware sets. It’s a really good value for the price point.

Hugh end crafted!
Such a Beautiful set! The dishes were packed with such care and arrived in perfect condition—no chips or scratches. I absolutely love the richness of the color of the stoneware, which adds warmth and style to my table. I know dark colors are trending now, and this dark grey set is perfect! The weight is substantial, making each piece feel durable and well-crafted. The raised edge around the plates is not only a stylish design feature but also incredibly functional, helping to keep food in place and minimize spills. The bowls are deep and generously sized, ideal for everything from soups and salads to pastas and cereal. This set is perfect for daily use, yet elegant enough for special occasions, making it versatile for any occasion. It would also make a thoughtful, high-quality gift for anyone who appreciates beautiful and functional dinnerware. Truly a great value for the quality! Can't wait to use it next week for a dinner party.

Beautiful stoneware set
This is by far the nicest dinnerware set I've owned. Each piece is beautiful. I got the charcoal grey set and absolutely love the color/design. I've never used stoneware before, so I was surprised by the weight of each piece. The plates are completely flat with a ridge around the edges, which give these a very unique look.I highly recommend this Eden stoneware set by Stone Lain!

Beautifully crafted set
This 12 Piece dinnerware set is great. The blue color is amazing. The set came nicely packed, so nothing was damaged. All pieces looked great and no flaws were seen. I have been heavily using them since I received them and have run them through the dishwasher with no issues. Highly recommend this set.

Love this stoneware! Just wish it included cups/mugs.
Arrived very well packaged with no chips, cracks or damage of any kind. We really like the flat bottoms and small rounded lip on the plates. They are well made; glazing and color (beige) are uniform and smooth all around. There are a couple of differences in how this design works in your kitchen vs. more conventional dinnerware. The straight-sided bowls don’t nest much, so they make a taller stack in the cabinet than most bowls. Also, their shape means they may not fit in your dishwasher quite the same as other bowls. Likewise, the lip on the plates, especially the small ones, means they don’t fit in our dishwasher in the same narrow slots as other salad plates. No killers here; just adapt. We definitely like them; just FYI.

Beautiful set of dishes!
I opted for the blue glazing because I like the non-uniform coloration. These feel very heavy and sturdy. I have a mishmash of plates and bowls, so it's nice that I finally have a set that I can bring out when I have guests other than my kids.
