It does, however, only works on scratches that are not very deep and are mostly limited to the clear coat. Any scratch that has penetrated the clear coat will have to be resprayed (which is obvious, not sure why people think that a rubbing compound will get rid of deep scratches). Also, do not go crazy while using it. If you apply too much pressure, it will eat the clear coat away. If there is slight fade in the clear coat after using the compound, polish the surface to get the shine back. Use a microfiber pad or cloth and always clean the surface before using the compound.
