I have a really high dpc level on my house and paint won’t stay for long on the wall?** A: The injection cream goes into the mortar course internal and external at damp level On the inside of the house you need to take off the plaster to a metre high then inject and use a waterproof render before plastering again. Paint should be ok then . If the paint that peels off is to an exterior wall under the damp course then the injection won’t help . You need to treat the wall under the damp course after removing all the loose paint with an appropriate slurry or render making sure the damp course above isn’t breached. It can then be painted . **Q: Will this work on a damp wall will it disperse the moisture back and is it low odour. Thanks** A: It is low odour . When it is injected into the mortar course as per instructions it prevents any further rising damp . The existing plaster should be taken off up to a metre high from the floor prior to injection . Follow the instructions and it is easy to do . Have used the product numerous times with good results **Q: What size is the sds drill. Need to know the size of the hole so can order plugs for the holes.
