I'd been having a sudden acne outbreak which I had not had this bad in a long time and it just wasn't clearing up even after 2 months of trying to treat it, also it was extremely painful to touch so I was using my usual acne treatment but without much success, then I saw this Dead Sea Salt Mud Mask advertised on Amazon and was guided by the positive reviews so thought I would give it a try. I'M SO GLAD I DID, I left it on for 15 minutes each time and after only 2 applications in the first week my acne calmed and started showing signs of clearing, I used only warm water and a soft flannel to wash it off. After use your skin feels very soft but you may also experience some dry skin, mine wasn't too excessive but I advise you use a moisturiser which I applied about 30 minutes after washing off the mask and this helps with any dryness. The headband is really good and it doesn't constantly slip off your head and the brush helps immensely with applying an even coat and keeping it away from the eyes, I really like this product and would definitely recommend it after my own experience using it, I now only have blemishes which will disappear I'm sure with continued use of the product. The moisturiser I use 30 minutes after washing off the mask is The Body Shop Vitamin E moisturiser which is lovely and not tested on animals. I wash the excess mud off the brush with warm water and then work some antibacterial soap into the bristles, rinse and put on the radiator to dry. Hope this is useful for anyone considering buying it.

I use this face mask after my bath once I've exfoliated and before I moisturize. It is extremely thick and cooking, and smells like the ocean.You only need to leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes or so, and it comes with a little applicator brush and headband.My skin feels smooth and does look clearer the day after using it. However, I have given it four stars rather than five. This is because I haven't seen many long lasting benefits and unfortunately it is really hard to get off which can be frustrating. Nevertheless, it's a lovely product and I would recommend it.

I bought this a long time ago (couple of years I think and still half a pot left but I don’t use it every week or anything) and every time I use it my skin looks and feels incredible afterwards. It’s not often products actually do what they say, if you think of other beauty products like volumising shampoo etc, but this really does what it says in the tin. My pores are massively reduced, the few spots I have vanish, it purifies your face and gets rise of all the excess oil and so on. Leaves my skin so clear, smooth and soft and I will happily go outside without make up on. It’s so soft and thick and the brush feels amazing when you paint it on. I will be buying this for the rest of my life. Seriously! Cannot recommend it enough. I tell all my friends and family about it. 10/10.

I actually love this product. I wasn't sure what to expect but I've been looking for a reasonably priced deep clean mask for a while as while I love the collagen gel masks and tissue masks I felt like my skin was getting overly oily with all these serum products and needed a good deep clean "reset".I loved the brush and how easy it was to apply and you didn't use that much to put on a generous coat on your face so the tub is going to last ages!I left it on until it had dried and then cleaned it off with a dark cloth that I knew wouldn't stain.I think the first time I may have left the mask to dry longer than my skin needed as my skin felt quite dry and I followed up with a gel mask to rehydrate a bit and then my skin felt amazing.The second time I used it I didn't leave it on for as long and my skin just felt amazing, soft and clean and didn't need any follow up additional hydration.This is a now a new step in my weekly at home facial and I love it.
