I had to come back to re-review this, because my tastebuds were so programmed by the crap that the USA puts in it's "food."I used to buy the Big Bom pops by the jug, because they tasted so much better than Blo-Pops, and they were bigger, so I tried these because they were so much cheaper, but also made with real sugar cane. They are also gluten free. (I didn't care, but some of you do.)When I first ate these, I thought they tasted off, and not as sweet. The gum is not as instantly chewy as the other pops, so I thought something was wrong....BUT, the longer I ate these they tasted better. I started to remember, back in the day, those dry hard pieces of gum I used to get in my baseball and Garbage Pail Kids cards, and realised that this is actually what happens to gum.I tasted a real Blo-Pop, and it really tasted off. Big Bom pops still taste great, but they taste too sweet, now.I'm won over by these, now.'Just a word of caution: some of these are sour, and say "SOUR" on the wrapping. 'Not a lot of them are sour, but some. They're not even bad, but if you're not expecting it, prepare to pucker.These are a great candy that you don't have to feel guilty giving to your kids, and they're very cheap for what you get. 'A great stocking stuffer, and good for Trick or Treaters.

The assortment pack offers a delightful variety of tastes. However, the bubble gum center is a letdown. It's virtually flavorless and becomes hard and unchewable after just one or two chews.Considering the excellence of the lollipop itself, I think the manufacturer would be better off focusing solely on the candy and omitting the gum altogether. Perhaps partnering with a reputable gum manufacturer could enhance the overall product."

Seeing as I'd never heard of Bon Bon Bum Lollipops, I was eager to give them a try! The lollipops come in a variety of fun fruity flavors. My favorites were Tangy Lollipop and Passionfruit, which has tiny chewy dots, resembling the seeds in a real passionfruit, which was a nice touch. The lollipops themselves were incredibly flavorful, but the gum was so-so, pretty quickly losing its flavor after a couple minutes of chewing.While I never had these as a child, I looked up the history and discovered that the company has been in business since the '50s. If you grew up with these, I'm sure they will be especially nostalgic to you and a delightful treat to share with your family or loved ones! They'd also be great to serve at parties or used to fill a pinata.

These lollipops taste great and are a great value for money. They aren’t too sweet and the variety so great too!

They are only slightly sour, which is good. The current trend for candy too sour to eat is a bit much for me. I find t hem fairly tasty, although I'm not much of a gum chewer so the centers don't do a lot for me, but overall I like the pops.

These are nice lollipops and the kids seem to love these. It comes with a small gum inside that you can chew after the hard layer dissolves.
