Ok- I'm so not one to provide a negative review but here's what I found- I Purchased this "Vulcan Tow Strap Kit from Amazon. The seller was Ratchet Strap Warehouse. The picture description of this kit is certainly misleading. The seller provided quick shipment- ok good right?. Not100% really- Upon arrival I quickly noticed that the tow strap itself is definitely heavy duty & appears to be able to handle most any tow task But the shackles and the storage bag are not the what I expected to receive. The picture shows good quality shackles and storage bag...certainly not the case- the bag does Not look like what's represented in the pictures. You actually get a very-very cheap straight orange fabric bag (with no logo like in the pic) and the shackles are 100% "china" made ...straight basic sliver in color- no red through bolt as in picture. It' was far enough away in representation from the pictures I thought maybe the kit was Not "OEM" & the seller might have been pulling a fast on to save on costs. I called Vulcan manufacture company directly and they kindly told me "yep- yes sir that is the OEM Kit- sorry we changed it a little"- uhmm ok- just a little. I give it a low 1 star rating just cause of the manufacture's (Not the sellers) dishonest representation. Hellooo Vulcan- to be true with your customers- please quickly update your online product pictures to represent what what you are actually selling. Maybe it would better to consider "gorilla"tow straps/products....just maybe they are more honest in their representation.

I haven't had to use it but it is in my truck and ready to pull whatever I need to do for a fellow citizen.I inspected it and it is even more durable than I thought it could be for this price.I had to get this when I saw it. I had a cheaper brand pop while pulling a boat and trailer out of a canal in Florida.This would have pulled it out with ease had I had it.I am happy and you will be too when you have this in your vehicle!!!

I haven't actually used it to tow or pull a vehicle out of a ditch. But this kit is heavy duty and will do the trick. The clamps are heavy and solid and this kit comes with a storage bag. Nice setup.

Item received is not the item pictured. Strap is much wider/larger than I expected and the shackles are nut/bolt/cotter pin. But it'll last....

I have not had the opportunity to try this out yet, but I will say this: It is MASSIVE and I don't expect ANY issues with durability. My only complaint is the bag that comes with it...sucks. It's just a cheap cloth bag that is guaranteed not to last. But aside from that, I don't foresee ANY issues.

First and most importantly, the kit does not include a 30' tow strap as described. If you need a 30' strap, choose the heavy duty kit and you will get a 30' strap.The bag included with the kit is much larger than is necessary for the strap and shackles; however I found it useful as I was able to add my additional emergency tow supplies to the bag. The overall quality of the strap and shackles is very good, and I do not regret my decision to buy the kit.

Used it a lot during "Snow-zilla" blizzard we had in the DC are a few weeks back. It's funny how many people get stuck in the snow when driving vehicles that have no business being driver during a blizzard! So durable, I even towed an ambulance out of a snow bank!

The strap itself and the shackles are OK,,,it's the pins they provide to hold the them that wreak. Affixed them and both fell off ON THE FIRST PULL AND LOST THEM BOTH. I had some cleavispins in the garage that worked much better. the strap is fine, the bag is big enough to hold two of my relatives but the pins are a dissapointment
