Black GEM Aloe Vera Clump Forming Non Hardy Succulent Useful Plant in Non Common Form in 7CM Pot

This was packaged in the 7cm (deep, it's rectangular) pot advertised, with damp soil and a cardboard tube wrapped around it and taped shut. As I ordered multiple plants at once they were stacked (lying on their side) in a box.The soil was more or less everywhere but the pot on arrival, which was not a problem for me -I was intending to repot a couple of weeks after recieving it, in order to give it some recovery time, so I just did that earlier.I don't know if this box was treated particularly roughly, but all of the plants were showing some damage. I waited to do these reviews (ordered 17th March) in order to see how the plants looked after recovering.This is a super cute little succulent! It seemed to be much less damaged than the rest of the box I got, possibly because it is quite compact. Any issues have healed now, and it's grown about as much as I would expect!An important thing to note is that this plant gets it colour from sunlight (as mentioned in the description) so don't put it in the shade. However, if you do, you can put it back into the sun gradually and it will get the beautiful dark colouring back.All in all I love this little guy and thankfully it seemed less affected by travel than the rest.

Came in good condition, watered it, got it in sunlight, best buy ever. Got the right compost for when i repot next year

My plant arrived to well wrapped, and healthy in a small pot. Like all my plants, I repotted it to a larger pot.Like all aloes, they need arid conditions. It is well and thriving, and is part of my collection!
