Review: Best option vs safety pin - So I've tried almost every product out there. In my pic you can see BibBoards, BIBUPS and Race Dots. Whats also out there that I haven't tried is Bib Magnets (dot com), Bib Magnets (Crowned Athletics) and Racebibups. I think BIBUPS are the best out of the three I've tried. Race Dots worked ok but because there is not a cover on the magnet, they are hard to get a hold of and will stick to each other. Race Dots specifically recommends runners put two dots up top on the bib and one on the bottom middle of the bib because otherwise if you bend down to stretch or whatever, the bib will fold in half due to the top and bottom magnets sticking to each other. BibBoards are ok but they became quite the nuisance when attempting to get the perfect placement of the bib on my shirt. The shirt will bunch up where you snap the Bib Boards so it takes time to snap it just right and not have the shirt saggy. They also WILL leave indents and possible holes depending on the fabric of the shirt. Not being able to easily get a good fit of the bib was more bothersome than anything. I'd even say worse than fiddling with the safety pins most races provide. BIBUPS has covers on the magnets and the covers are also star shaped which makes it very easy to grab hold of and adjust. No worries bending down to stretch or re-tie your shoe because they are protected by the cover and wont stick to anything other than its mate. They also don't feel as heavy as racedots but the magnets are just as strong. The only place to find BIBUPS is on desertcart but they are worth it. I've ran two 5K races, no issues. Racebibups could be a good product. The front magnet is larger than the rear magnet which would make grabbing and adjusting much easier than Race Dots. Only problem for me is they are an Italy/Great Britain company and I live in USA. Bibmagnets (dot com) looks like they have an outer lip on both the front/rear magnet so they could be a good option. Bibmagnets (crowned athletics) doesn't really show what the rear magnet looks like so I assume they are the same size and would give the same problem as Race Dots. I purchased Bibboards first, then Race Dots and finally BIBUPS (both black and white...pictured). I'm very happy with BIBUPS! I researched more companies but no need for me to spend anymore money. Review: Good choice - No more safety pins to mess with. These magnets go on easy and stay secure in place. I’ve attached to quarter zip sweater and not one fell off. I feared it would come off because of the thicker material of sweater but it held up well. Would recommend

Overpriced, yes, but I got tired of poking holes into my running top each race. I did lose one set so I’ll have to get another. The magnetic strength is pretty good so it shouldn’t fall off unless you inadvertently swipe at it when you are running.
