If you tried Civivi before, you'll know what to expect. Came razor sharp out of the box, perfectly smooth deployment with drop shut close, extremely sturdy with zero blade play in any direction, excellent fit and finish all around, best button locks from any brand out there, and perfect jimping everywhere that is needed. Whatever this Damascus blend is, it holds an edge a little better than nitro v/14c28n but not quite as good as D2. Cuts and sharpens smooth due to inner core steel is a solid piece. It is genuine layered steel for the pattern, not laser etched or painted. Compared to other Civivi, this one is a little larger and heavier for being aluminum, and the detent is a little stronger (cant quite flick it open with middle finger, but perfect for flipper/thumb)

This is my first CIVIVI knife, but it won't be my last. This is a beautiful piece of workmanship. Just the right size and weight for EDC. Action is smooth but takes a bit of getting used to learning the close. Well worth the price.

Boyfriend loves this knife. It is super sharp so be careful. It is also easy to open with a press of a button. My boyfriend breaks knifes a lot due to his job and he has had it 4 months and it’s still going strong. Very light weight.

Incredibly well made knife. Excellent fit and finish. Amazing action and the perfect detent for deployment as well drop shutting the blade. The tactile feedback is absolute joy. Acoustics emitting from the action on the aluminum scales are a plus. Unbelievable beautiful swedge and the hollow grind on the blade.

Fantastic knife!! One of the best new Civivi releases for 2025. Improvement over the older Altus design since this one has a finger flipper tab but the Altus does not.
