BoironChildren's Chestal for Cough Syrup, Honey, 4.20 Ounce

I liked this brand I feel that it really works for my son who gets cough fits often from daycare. I received the wrong one but thankfully he’s almost 3 and could take the one I received.

I received my product broken at least one of the bottles.It literally arrived in pieces. The box that it came in was all spilled with the medicine and inside the Chestal box it was filled with glass if you were to shake it, it sounded like a rattle.

this really is (for us) the one and only, best cough medicine on the market. i love the fact that it is all natural and is not pumping unnecessary chemicals through my sons veins/system. also, it works right away and my son loves the taste. win win.

I did not expect much from this cough relief when I bought it since my experience with homeopathic medicines has been less than average. This one is very good though. My daughter was coughing one whole night. I had been giving Benedryl and it was useless. Next 2 days I gave her Chestal Cough Relief every 2 hours. First day cough was almost zero and by next day it was completely gone! Also as soon as I started the medicine I could feel that the mucus was breaking/thinning.

A friend told me about this as a natural remedy for children's coughs (when they won't take honey straight...which my kids won't). But they love taking this. It really does help their coughs - especially when you take it every 2 hours like suggested. Also - it's much thinner than plain honey so it's easier to drink. We keep this stockpiled in my house - that's how much we love it and use it !

Does not work

I was looking for a natural alternative to give to our children when they have a cough. I purchased this brand as well as several others because I know how picky my 2 year old is and how difficult it is to get her to take something when she is sick. The taste of this is much like honey and she had no problem taking this. As far as effectiveness, it seemed to help some, but this particular cough was pretty bad. It worked as well, if not better than most of the other products we had tried.

This is an item on our subscribe & Save orders during cold & flu season and again during allergy season. First, it is hard to find effective treatments for cough and cold that are safe for 2 yr olds. When it is just a cough that is a problem, though, the Chestal Honey syrup does the trick!Our kids love to take it and it works! It is recommended to dose it every 2 hours, so when they are having trouble with a cough, we do go through it quickly, but it is affordable and convenient using Subscribe and Save!
