Must have if your windows are unreachable from the ground
Our windows are on the second story - I'm too unsure to get on a ladder to clean them and don't like paying someone $150 to clean them. This is a real game-changer - I'm real happy with it. Note that if your windows are exceptionally dirty (mine were), the first time you run it it will probably leave swirls. No worries, just change the pads and run it again and your windows will come out sparkling - mostly. It can't get corners (because the pads are round...). I found an issue with my sliding glass door: it has a very low-angle bevel seal around the edge - when the pad slides up the bevel, that's enough to break the vacuum and cause the unit to fall off. It's very tough and, although it hit the concrete pretty hard, I stuck it back on the window and it continued right on. For the sliding glass door, I have to baby-sit it and just put my hand against the edge to get it to turn and continue. Sometimes, it gets lost and doesn't complete a track. The remote comes in handy for such occasions. Note that you have to fully pause it before setting a direction. Once you're in 'manual' remote mode, when it reaches an edge it will just sit there waiting for your next command. If you hit the play/pause button, then it will continue in automatic mode.

Great tool: window washing robot!!
Wow! My husband has always refused to wash windows, leaving that chore to me. Muddy cat paw tracks on patio doors, grandkid handprints, and splatter cast off from power washer used on deckโฆ. Window washing never fun. My husband watched Utube video on window washing robot and was intrigued. So we ordered one. Huge success so far! A couple of smaller windows had a beveled edge and robot didnโt handle those well. But it did work very well on all the others. Robot is sort of noisey, but itโs a small trade off for the benefits it offers. Many of our windows are high, so great bonus not to have to drag ladders out anymore at every window washing job. If in doubt, give it a try: my husband is now the official window washer!๐

Very pleased with results - right out of the box!
Next day delivery - Worked right out of the box. My windows haven't been cleaned in three years! I plugged this little robot in. and put it to work - and after doing both sides of the windows twice - they sparkle like new! Very pleased so far with this device. On watching YouTube videos I liked the revolving wheels to move over the surface cleaning more thoroughly than a stationary microfiber pad, so I decided on this Tosima W5 instead of EcoVacs Mini. The only worry I have is the motor doesn't sound like a jet engine - it's kind of weak sounding, but it grips like a gorilla to the window so I'm probably worrying about nothing. We will see. I'm hoping this thing lasts for more than just a few months - but it only cost $100 to buy it which was half of what a professional window washer charges . If it works for just one whole house cleaning I will be ahead. I've done about half of them so far. One thing I notice is that I can't take my eyes off the robot as it works. I can't leave it - not because I'm afraid it will fall, but because it's so much fun to watch it doing all my hard work for me. This is truly what AI robots are designed for. Now I have to get a robot vacuum and indoor mopper - and maybe a lawn-cutter robot to mow my grass. I also wish there was a robot house painter, gutter cleaner, bed-maker, weed-puller, laundry doer - and house-picker-upper and most of my high energy jobs would be done!

nice idea, but not ready for real use yet
I really wanted to like this product, but it has serious shortcomings. First, it can and will fall off the window, frequently. Especially at the bottom. I placed a pad below it, which seems necessary or it will break sooner or later. Next, it leaves triangular areas at the side edges that are not cleaned at all. It takes a good bit of work and full access to the window edges to manually clean this, so not saving that much work. Next, it leaves circular streaks all over the window, particularly on panes that started out somewhat dirty or dusty. You can either try running it two or more times on the same pane, or manually go over these as well, taking more time. It also had some other fiddly aspects, such as not being able to climb initially until the maybe the pads were a little damp. In summary, requires frequent supervision and about as much work to fix what it does badly as it saves, and likely won't last long with the falls. I will keep it in case it has some use for special situations, but this nice idea is not ready for real use as yet.

Requires a Learning Curve
I was so excited to learn about the new generation of window washing robots. I couldn't wait to buy one. I did extensive research, comparisons, and how-to video watching. I settled on this Tosima W3. I wanted it to work so badly. But perhaps I expected too much. This device definitely requires a learning curve. I have now used it five times, in three different areas of my home, inside and out. And I have a little higher opinion of it, than I did at first. The first attempt barely completed the task, but the last assignment was flawless. Hence the learning curve. PROS: The machine is good quality, the suction is adequate, there are sufficient cleaning pads, and it does a good job of cleaning. It works best on large, unobstructed, straight windows with no window treatments. If this is all you have, it will work well for you. Because the windows look nice, once it's done. CONS: And, there are many! 1. The machine is kind of heavy, when it falls...it falls hard. And it does fall! Never leave it alone on high up windows. 2. The cleaning pads are difficult to put on and take off, especially for old arthritic fingers. 3. It is loud. I live next to a golf course, and I thought the players and/or the neighbors were going to complain about the noise, but they didn't. 4, When it falls, or gets stuck in a small space, the rotator wheels get dislodged (causing it to fall). There are no instructions on how to put them back on, or fix one that has only partially come off. 5. The remote is not easy to figure out on its face. The book is helpful tho'. 6. The spray takes a LONG TIME to work. 7. The safety rope sounds good on the surface, but realistically, its not of much use. Most of the time, there is nothing to attach it to, unless you want to put hooks in your ceiling. If you make the rope too short, it won't reach all the window. And in the event of a high up fall, I think the device could likely break any window below it, in it's first bounce or swing. But, I think this is probably an issue with just about any window robot. And two things I did not hear in any of the reviews or videos: 1. Inside mount shades or blinds may affect its ability. It will depend on how much clearance there is between the fully raised blinds or shades and the device. It is several inches think. I had one set of shades that worked, and one set of plantation shutters that did not, causing it to fall. 2. Finally, the minimum dimension of a window is twice as large as I expected. I ordered a "slim" model, because I have small windows that slide to open. It doesn't work on these windows, because it can only travel by circular motion. It can't travel straight in any direction. All in all...tho' I am still learning...I think it will work for me, in the long run. It does not actually save any time, as it's not speedy. But it does keep me off ladders, and save my arm and shoulders. Not my neck...because I still have to look up! But, pushing buttons is much easier than climbing ladders and cleaning windows, for this old lady!

Works great
I hate to leave a review after only using it one time. However, I have already cleaned three sets of French doors both inside and out, and it honestly works way better than I thought it would. When I first got it, I almost returned it because I thought this isnโt gonna work itโs going to be Stupid. I was very surprised how much I love it. I did think it was rechargeable because it had a 25 minute battery life however, thatโs not 25 minutes to run that means if for some reason it would come unplugged or you lost power it would not lose suction on the window for about 25 minutes. My windows were so dirty that I did have to clean one of them twice. I just made sure to do my cleanest windows first and then the outside ones I did afterwards. Honestly, with $150 I spent I wouldโve spent at least triple that on Cleaning most of the windows in my house. So I feel like I get my moneys worth if I just clean the windows I want even one time. Anyway, very simple to operate And seems like a very solid product. However, like I said, Iโve only had it one day, but it worked perfect perfectly so far. Lastly, I will add that I did not use the safety cord. I was just doing ground level. Maybe if I attempt my higher windows I will.

Pretty good window cleaner.
Product works pretty good. I found if you spray windows with a window cleaner and squeegee them first then the machine it works better. Still leaves some light streaks but the windows are much better. I would buy again.

Love this!
Love this! Sometimes I need to replace the clothes on a big window but it is better than a ladder and a squeegee.
