Was expecting it to be metal not plastic. Was a gift for a person . Was disappointed

Not what was expected
It's a plastic shield, so the the finish is not what I would of hoped for. This would be great for for kids. But for an adult wanting the real deal, you may feel a little disappointed.

Weak straps
The shield looks really good and feels good, the biggest problem is the straps. They're loose as hell, they don't tighten, and even if they did they just come loose insanely easily and fast. Like if you wear it and it jiggles as you walk, or it moves in any way possible, the straps WILL come loose! Best off cutting the straps off and replacing them with cheap belts that can actually be locked.
