Just what was needed to fix our washer

I am an appliance technician for 30 years. My customer had an LG washer not starting. Or, not going through the cycles.Once I arrived, and started a test cycle. I noticed the symbol for the valves was flashing.This was a "give away" that this was the issue.On all washers made nowadays. If the computer doesn't detect a certain amount of pressure from the hot and cold valve it will not operate. In this case it would let the customer start a cycle but it would stop and start flashing the valve symbol.Once I took the old valves out I saw just how much build up was in them this was an easy repair. You know a lot of these valves come with a little screens in them. But you can also get hose screens to put on the supply lines to have two extra screens before it reaches the washer.
