Good item but it not sliverline as it stay

Cheap and cheaply made. Bought it to cut 2mm metal, only just managed to complete the jobs I required to do before the tin snips gave up the ghost. The left and right worked well for a limited period. The straight cut one was useless.

Excellent value, the tools are perfectly adequate for DIY and general hobbyist, not up to pro use, but at the price, who's going to moan?

Ok for cutting aluminium not so good for steel however you have to pay a lot more for proper tin snips and sometimes these don't work very well.

do not buy if you are going to cut metal as the pere i got barely cut paper . i wouldn't bother buying them but if you are going to use them once or twice a year there good but they are no good for industrial use

This things are so cheaply made they broke the first day I used them,had to get some Stanley instead. Go for a better set.

I have bought several Silverline tools and have always been impressed with the quality. In comparison with the 'well known' brands they represent excellent value for money. If you want bright shiny tools with a famous name emblazoned on them then go for the more expensive ones, if you want basic tools that just do the job they were intended for then go for Silverline. These were bought as a present for my husband and haven't lasted a week. The bolts that holds the two parts together has come loose on all three sets, they have also bent as the metal used is poor quality. If you want to use each a couple of times then buy - but if you want them to be a useful addition to your toolbox don't bother!
