I think I can already feel the benefits
I got this as I have had a bit of a neck and shoulder issue that has lingered. I have a sauna four nights each week and tend to lie down and relax for ten minutes afterwards so figured I could do this at the same time. So far I am still on the starter side, and it already seems to be helping. I suspect it is a gradual thing, and so will be sticking at it over the coming months and see how it goes. It would be nice it also helped with posture, but if it just helps with the neck and shoulder issue I will be happy.POSITIVES:- A possible solution for some types of neck pain- Assists with the posture if used regularly- Tough and pretty rigid whilst being soft enough to be comfortable- Portable if you need it on the go or are travellingNEGATIVES:- Instruction sheet is okay. It does have some pictures and step-by-step guidance, but it would have been nice to have had more information such as how it works, protocols based on what the problem is, what to expect, etc.All in all, a great little device and easy to use. I will be use it multiple times per week and so hope to see some good results over the coming months.

Great for stretching out the neck after slouching over a computer screen all day
With the increasing amount of time spent these days poring over a computer screen I had noticed that my shoulder muscles and neck were often very tight and sore, sometimes resulting in tension headaches radiating from the back of my scalp.Whilst it's possible to stretch the neck and should muscles using a rolled up towel or hanging your head off the edge of the mattress, I liked the idea of something that has been designed specifically to put the next into the correct position so thought I would give this a try. It's well worth reading the instructions first to make sure you use the cushion in the correct orientation, and one side is meant to give more of a stretch than the other. Once the cushion is in position you simply place your neck against it, bending the knees up so that your back and shoulders are flat on the floor, and allow gravity and the weight of your head to do its job in stretching out your spine and neck. The instructions recommend no more than 10 minutes at a time, and I can understand this as to stay in position for longer than this could be very uncomfortable.Personally I could feel the benefits of lying on the pillow for 10 minutes, and whilst it didn't completely remove the muscle tension it definitely eased it. Some reviewers clearly found that it didn't work for them, so it obviously depends on each individual user. I note that some of the negative reviews have marked it down for being uncomfortable - I think they've missed the point, as it's likely to be uncomfortable whilst it stretches out the neck, and this is why it recommends short sessions of use.It probably won't work for everyone, but I'm happy with the results I've seen so far.

Give it 10 minutes at bedtime for 2-3 months before judging...
I am disappointed that there are not better instructions provided with this item. It would help people use it properly and possibly provide more benefits. Two words are key – muscle memory – it takes weeks/months/years for muscles to become the way they do, for instance after an accident, the muscles have to adapt (i.e. a whiplash), or changing to a job that requires sitting at a desk, or going from a standing to a sitting position, all the muscles have to adapt. So, to expect this thing to work after a few 10 mins sessions is laughable (I was a sports massage therapist, I have a bit of relevant knowledge) For instance, going to a chiropractor and expecting a few cracks to fix a problem - your muscles have adapted to a certain shape, so to expect a couple of cracks to ‘fix’ you, again, is laughable. The best person to talk to regarding fixing an ailing body is a physiotherapist, who will give a specific series of exercises designed to help rehabilitate your muscles and slowly optimise movement etc.If you are going to use this thing, give it a few months, not weeks. use it to 'rest'... when lying down, put some cushions under your knees so your back muscles lie flatter and don’t pull all the way up your back. Try deep breathing for the entire 10 minutes, which will help relax your whole body (the whole body is connected to the spine, so it all needs to relax), notice which areas feel like they are ‘holding’ and try to breathe into relaxing those areas. Maybe listen to some soft music for the duration (If you do it during the day and have to get up afterwards, roll onto your side and slowly push up on one arm to prevent that spinning ‘dizziness’).I have a bone spur in my neck and sit for long periods of time at my pc, so I will enjoy using this at the end of the day before I drop off to sleep… I know it will help slowly revive the muscle memory in my neck muscles and slowly help them revert to their previous position. Then I will be able to add strengthening exercises to further assist.Just don't expect this thing to perform miracles without considering all the elements that got you a bad neck or shoulders or back in the first place...!

Brilliant
I’ve used this once but so far I’m very impressed. When I first started I could feel the twinges in my lower back that I pushed through and I’m so glad I did. By the end of the 10 minutes the twinges had disappeared and my back felt looser. When you sit up do it slowly though as I went light headed I also had pins and needles in my feet which I’m assuming is from the built up tension releasing. Can’t wait to see the full potential after using it for a few days/weeks

Worth a try
I have had problems with my neck for a while and thought this neck and shoulder relaxer was worth a try. It comes with instructions for use which is really helpful. It is sturdy and stable to use and gives good support. It was a bit uncomfortable at first but you do get used to it. I have been using it for about 5 minutes at a time initially to get used to it and I can feel it pressing on various painful parts. These have eased somewhat over a few uses which is pleasing and become a little less painful each time. It has been nice to stretch out the neck on a support.I think neck problems may be very specific to the individual user. I tried a shaped sleeping pillow and that did not do much for me but honestly this device is more promising so far. It has small nodules on it that seem to engage with my specific problem points and this is helping me.I am hoping for more relief the longer I use it and time will tell how effective it is. Cost wise, if I compare it with physio session or similar then it is very cheap and re-usable.
