Having used it for 6 weeks now, I upgrade my rating. It has performed very well. It's just that it's one of those products that are engineered to use the minimal amount of materials and appears under-built. My only complaint is that the lever to open the spout gets too hot to use your bare fingers.

Using this as water pitcher
Using this as water pitcher as water bottles are hard to clean. This one is steel and just easy to clean.

Whatever you need the water for, this will let you know when the water is hot. The whistle is an oldie, but still a goodie.

HANDLE GETS HOT
We finally had to replace our very old school kettle. started to Leck from bottom rim. This new (China made) kettles handle gets hot when our old one did not.
