Well written, easy to digest advice for your young superstars
The book is written as a collection of easily digestible "secrets" - well written short advice. So it feels great, and easy to read for - honestly speaking - generation that doesn't read easily. The "secrets" are logically sorted in chapters, and I can't find the fault with the advice. The only criticism could be that some of the secrets are repeated several times (fueling the body, consistency, visualization) - but then again, maybe it's a good idea to be a bit repetitive so that the advice sticks. Very good.

A good read for a young athlete
This book comprises 127 tips from Coach, beginning with the basics of mindset, belief in yourself, the importance of training correctly, mental toughness, nutrition, focus, strategy, what to do on game day, and so on, all of which should resonate with a young athlete. The nom de plume, Hayden Fox, was the name of the character Coach on the television series of the same name. Isn't that cute?

Sports at a young age gave me the confidence I needed as a shy, reserved child. This book helps guide young athletes through the mental toughness, resilience, strategy and teamwork that's taught on the field which translates into building character. There's areas that are redundant throughout but other than that, good resource for teens.
