If you combine the worksheets with Quizlet, students quickly and easily learn the words and can use them in sentences. I'm a private English tutor (former teacher), and I use this with my 5th-7th grade students all the time. My only complaint is that the book doesn't get harder as you work your way through it. It would be nice if it started out easy and then slowly progressed to harder words in order to challenge the students. Still, it is a wonderful book, and I highly recommend it!
