It’s worth it!
I bought this for a Christmas present for my son who is 18. He was able to build it in about 4 hours total and loves running around shooting his siblings. He hasn’t stopped talking about it and now wants to get more models. He said it wasn’t that hard, it all comes in stages and instructions are easy. Totally worth it!

The instruction must have been written... Oh that's right just stupid pictures that make not sense.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Thought it would be relaxing doing this project. Wrong!

Really more for an adult
First, a couple notes for parents to consider. While the sellers description of this building block set says 14+, their images (and the instruction manual in the set) say 12+. I would agree that 14+ should be fine. Under that, however, while I concede that some tweens would have no problems with it, I can easily see where others might get very frustrated by it. Additionally, parents with multiple children may want to steer clear because the finished toy can shoot rubber bands, which may be problematic. (Obviously every parent knows their children and will have to weigh that for themselves, but definitely things to bear in mind.)I ordered this as a gift for my youngest brother (over 30) who has always enjoyed building blocks and assorted model-type fun in his spare time. He's also an avid gun enthusiast (and very much a "safety first!" type of person), so it was a terrific choice for a gift touching on multiple hobbies at once. As such, what I am sharing now is from a lengthy conversation with him after finally completing the as I did not assist him nor personally put it together:The model went together easily enough. There were no missing or broken parts and the instructions were generally easy enough to follow, though careful attention to small details was very much necessary. While the material generally felt well-made (similar to the big brand name), there were several pieces that "felt a bit weak" and he expressed concerns that playing with it too much may result in those breaking. It "doesn't really feel like a 1:1 scale ratio" of any pistols he has (or personally knows of, but he did wonder if that might be based on a pistol outside the US). Overall, he very much enjoyed putting it together and he's had a lot of fun shooting rubber bands at certain younger family members feet while shouting "dance monkey, dance!" (a short quote from a family film they all adore), much to the delight of others.

Very realistic
The toy was very realistic and challenging to put together. The trigger mechanism was a little confusing to put together.
