Simple and engaging game
This is a fun game for littles. The snails are a lot of fun and come in a good variety of colors- in a mixed group everyone should be able to have a color they like. The game pieces are well made and presented in the box so nicely. The card slots are even slanted so they can come out easily and are pleasantly displayed. The board is a fun shape and is decorated with different garden tools some action cards have you count.Gameplay is simple, similar to chutes and ladders. You rolls dice and move that many spaces. The space you land on may have an action- draw a card and do what it says, slide backwards down a hose, or a whirly space (where for a chance to claim a token you have to say a word that begins with a ‘w’ that hasn’t been said yet that game). The cards have you practice counting- either items on the board or spaces between players- and acting if that number is odd or even. For example, ‘count the watering cans. If it’s an odd number move forward 3 spaces’ or ‘count the spaces to the player behind you. If it’s even join them’. The player space cards are truly random, where the ‘count the items on the board’ cards will always be the same (unless you purposely miscount?) After playing a game it seems like most of the cards where you count the items on the board meet whatever criteria needed for the action. If the card says ‘if it’s even’ it almost certainly is going to be even. This might limits replay ability eventually- but there are enough cards and the intended age young enough that it would probably take A LOT of playing for them to realize that.Because gameplay actions are taken based on where you land, and many actions have you land somewhere new, actions can compound. You could have a turn where you roll your dice move and your done. And you could have a turn where you roll, move, draw a card, move again, draw another card, move again, and then draw and move again. This adds excitement, because your turn could be anything. It also means the game doesn’t have a definite pace. Some turns take longer- which may be difficult on younger players’ patience. The gameplay itself provides lots of opportunities for counting, adding, subtracting, shape recognition, and obviously the concept of odd and even numbers. There is almost no strategy (technically choosing which ‘w’ words to use and whether to use a token to not slide back or save it to win the game is strategy, but again- barely) which means there is a low entry to play. It also means the game will not grow with the players the way other simply fun games do. There is no provided way to change up gameplay or make it more challenging. And short of making new sets of dice or cards I’m not sure how you would change up the game.I think this is a great game, it does exactly what it sets out to do. Personally my favorite fact of evens and odds is how they relate to each other when you add them; how the only way to get an odd number is if you add an even and an odd, because two evens or two odds will always make an even. I think it would be cool to have a game that teaches and implements this mechanic- but the only one I’ve ever seen is a mini game from the sequel to Final Fantasy X… But I digress.I suppose if you added another two sets of die to this game (two that are only even, and two that are only odd) you could introduce this concept in an exploratory fashion by letting kids choose to mix and match die for a desired odd/even result. Though once they figured that out again the replay ability would be limited.Ignoring that tangent- it’s a well made game, would gift well, is built to withstand classroom use, and teaches the important concept of odd and even in a fun and engaging way. I’d totally recommend it.

Fun, educational twist on Shoots & Ladders
I played this with my two youngest kids, and we had a great time. The snail theme is cute, and the components are well made. It has a similar feel to Shoots & Ladders with sliding back spaces (although there are no skip forward spaces), but it plays quicker, and has additional question cards that give extra opportunities to practice counting, recognize even and odd numbers, or think of a word that begins with s (or w, for players who land on the W space on the board). It’s a simple game, and winning depends primarily on the roll of the dice, so even the youngest player can be victorious. As a parent, I like the educational value, which also adds interest to the game, and also like that it doesn't take much time to play.

Fun educational game
This is a fun game to teach basic addition and odd vs even numbers. My 4 yr old is a big fan of numbers and math so she was excited to try this out. We played the whole game through pretty quickly. Based on some of the card challenges, I think it's more fun with 3+ players but it was still fun with two. I think the 6+ age range is a little high. If your child can count on their fingers and know a few letter sounds they can play this independently with the exception of reading the even/odd cards.

Nice quality
The game is well made. Sturdy box, game board and pieces. Cards are printed nicely as well. I like that it combines a bit of math, but isn't too complex for my kindergarten kiddo. I'm sure the younger one will enjoy it as well with some grownup help on the math.

Learn Odd and Even with Whirly
This game caught my attention because I have many games that all are learning and this math game teaches odd and even. The snail movers are so cute and I especially like games that teach while you are playing. This game looks like a fun one you get 30 whirly tokens,27 odd cards,27 even cards ,6 snail pawns, 1 garden board, and 2 dice and rule booklet. Kids will have a lot of fun learning early Addition and odd and even numbers. 2 to 4 players can play ages 5 and up. I will update when my grandkids and I play this. they love games.

Cute game
This is a good game for my kindergartener. She can understand and get the concepts of the game and she likes to play this game. This is a good alternative to the typical name brand games people have. Lost 1 star for price.

Great educational game!
Bought this for our 7 year old because she loves math and games. This was a big hit. We played several rounds and she loved every one of them!! The game is a little cheesy, but honestly so much fun. It wasn't too "childish" for us (parents) to enjoy with her!
