We borrowed one from a friend for a couple of family visits before deciding to go get one ourselves. I was very happy the product until I lent it to my daughter and her husband during their move (so my wife and I had somewhere to sleep when we visited them) at their apartment. Now it remains at my daughter's house for us to use. It is very comfortable, very convenient, and easy to travel with too. It did used to take up a lot of my trunk in a Honda Civic, but any vehicle larger and you will have no problems transporting it. One side has wheels so it even drags well in and out of the house.I would recommend you put down a thick blanket or comforter before making the bottom sheets up on the bed however to give you a bit more insulation at night. Laying directly on the plastic mattress with only a thin sheet in between will cause you to loose body heat quickly in a colder environment. I did put mattress pads over the top and then regular fitted sheets, for a queen size bed, and they fit beautifully, too.I WOULD definitely recommend this bed to every body looking for a guest bed, that opens up all by itself, and closes up all by itself, and stores away a it is on wheels. looks like a huge suitcase whens it is packed up. It's been over a year since I actually closed up my bed here, it works well, and is now like a suitcase on wheels again. All packed away. This is the second one I've purchased and only then because my husband left the last one in the garage and a mouse ate through it. Yay.It may seem pricey initially but you can set these up anywhere. I take mine to my parents and saved a mint on hotel fees. I also purchased a folding screen for privacy when my mother comes, and put them in the dining room- she loves it!I would recommend buying a mattress cover so that it has a more cushiony pillow top feel. If your guests are sensitive to smells I would set it up (brand-new) as soon as possible before they come. Airbeds by their nature tend to be very cold in cold environments.
