I like to top-dress my soil with kelp meal to prepare my plants for flower. Down to Earth kelp meal has a great NPK ratio for this.

I really think this product is an incredible product even with its NPK as it is- we all know kelp helps things grow very fast and this is just a great product. I truly think that for the most part all my vegetables everything that I've started so far is due to the fact that I've used meal in there

I will be buying again in the near future.Kelp adds trace minerals in you soil...yes, from the sea. You will see much larger produce. Sweeter fruits, luscious vegetables and flowers in your garden. And a whole lot more of hungry little worms...that will grow into healthy BIG worms to work your soil. Those worms gobble up some of that seaweed for themselves. That's right earthworm castings.Add 3 inches of composted leaves every year for 3 years with this kelp and you will have one of the most productive gardens you have ever had...you will be giving produce to your neighbors, guaranteed.I am glad Amazon offers this product. 3yrs ago this was 19.99 per 5lb box the word got out that its a good additive when building your own soil now the price gouging begins. Wtf.

If you have a garden or any live plants, you need to keep a box of this on hand. If you notice any issues with your plants, the first step should be to feed them some kelp meal. The easiest way is to mix some of this kelp meal with enough water to hydrate it, about 1:2 kelp to water. Wait about 30 minutes, and blend it up really well, slowly adding enough water to make a smooth paste. This paste can be stored in the back of your fridge. Mix about a tablespoon per gallon of water, and use it to feed plants. This can be done every watering, or anytime you see a deficiency in your plant. You will be amazed at the results.

Great for my tea's and soil mix.
