Great trigger thumb or finger brace
This brace really works well on my trigger thumb. I ordered another one because it works great, great material, lots of support, hold it's shape, true to size, work as advertised, if you loose weight size down one,I started with size 11 for my thumb, if you have ever jammed you fingers or thumb or trigger thumb or finger this is a great brace to keep your fingers or thumb straight, I wear mines to bed as well, I love this brace. I'm a factory worker and I feel no pain now.

Works Quickly
Was having Trigger finger in pinky finger. Gripping anything small like a fork or toothbrush would lock it. Finger was very sore. Put Oval-8 on and could tell difference in overall soreness overnight. The splint really allows finger to rest and would not allow it to move into the lock position. Splint was very comfortable and easy to wear and sleep in. I wore it full time first 3-4 days and have start taking off for hours at time without finger triggering to a locked position. A little bit of soreness as a result of finger being held in straight position but that goes away quickly after taking splint off and moving finger freely. Oval-8 has been a very effective product for me.Only issue was sizing. Went to Oval-8 web site printed out instructions to measure finger. Ordered a single splint only because the singles delivered overnight and the 3 size packs were taking a week plus. First splint was small but still comfortable enough to wear. Ordered next size up as soon as I put the first one on. Once in correct size it's almost like it's not on.

WORTH IT, but measure carefully.
This is a great product, the only issue I take with it is not having a return or exchange option should you get the size wrong, so measure carefully. This was needed for a Trigger Thumb issue. Ordered a size 6 and it was too small. No returns, so I ended up ordering again; a size 8. Great fit.Tips:-Use a measuring tape.-If you find yourself in-between measurements order the size that's bigger.- If you do not have a measuring tape, use a strip of paper to measure around your thumb and then measure the strip of paper. It's worth it once you get the right size. While wearing it: No pain or discomfort, can wash your hands without taking it off. Discreet in comparison to other similar products.Trigger Thumb is improving after one month of consistent use. Less pain and the thumb does not get stuck in a bent position now. Still, some stiffness but the improvement is great.

Great splint with low profile
Had climber's finger on my middle fingers and used this to straighten it out. Works very well, there was discomfort but that’s expected. Make sure to measure and size correctly around the knuckle. So far has been sturdy, have worn to sleep without any cracking or breaking.

Size 9 is not a size 9... it reads on splint 8 - 9
UPDATE: 10/8/13 ** WEAR IT UPSIDE DOWN**I had to take it off. The hard Plastic oval 8 around my knuckle was digging into my knuckle every time it BENT. If you wear it as PICTURED, your finger eventually bends to the point of the Trigger Finger thunking. Isn't this supposed to hold the finger from BENDING? Well it WILL NOT STOP YOUR FINGER FROM BENDING if you try and wear it as PICTURED in the photo. So I've had it in my drawer for weeks and my knuckle is still sore from the irritation of wearing the hard plastic over my knuckle for over 9 hours that one day. TODAY I decided to "google" Oval 8 finger splints. I discovered you can wear it UPSIDE DOWN and it will stops your finger from bending. In fact it is PERFECT worn upside down with the "THICK ring looking Band" ON TOP of the finger, just below the top of your knuckle - NOT UNDER the finger as Pictured!Worn correctly - it is just snug enough to hug hug your finger, just before the "bending knuckle" and the oval 8 PART is UNDER the finger and prevents it from bending. DUH! Therefore it stops the bending of the finger... PERIOD! The size 8-9 is perfect for me if worn that way. NO purple finger either. I though it would slide off, but it is holding nicely as I type and there is not tightness to make me want to futz with it. I can see This is going to work. YEEEE HA!=============================================================================FIRST REVIEW - WORN AS PICTURED IN PHOTO!!!!I actually went out and bought a ring sizer kit. You know with all the rings on it.I am a size 9. However you should order a size up because it reads 8-9 and the 9 is too tight. It seemed ok (a tad tight)at first until I noticed my finger underneath was PURPLE! Purple as in stops the circulation. This is a hard plastic and not soft in any way - so there is NO GIVE.I liked the way you can bend your finger down, but it stops it (almost stops it) to the point where your trigger finger will snap. You can force it to close further, but it is a reminder to not do it.I hope the 9 - 10 fits better. Had I known this was an (EIGHT) 8 - 9 I would have bought the 9 - TEN. However they do not tell you the varying size difference. That is just plain misleading and leads to one ordering a size that will not fit.(I WROTE TO THE SUPPLIER) THEY HAVE NO INTENTIONS OF REPLACING IT AND WON'T TAKE IT BACK. THEY WANT ME TO BUY AN EXPENSIVE HEAT GUN AND HEAT IT UP AND STRETCH IT. I TRIED BOILING IT IN HOT WATER, TO NO AVAIL.)I give it one star for the misleading ring sizing AND THEIR REFUSAL TO MAKE IT RIGHT BUY EXCHANGING IT.
