Tasty
My senior cat thinks this tastes very good. I bought some for him when he was getting constipated and it seemed to help with that. It's way too expensive to feed it to him all day (especially because he's a big cat), but I feed him this food in the morning and use a different wet food the rest of the day.

Cat approved , no top fits leftovers
My picky cat loves it, large can, no top fits if leftover's.

My cats love it
My kitties gobble this up. The pumpkin is great for business #2 as they have sensitive tummies.

good stuff
I find it strange my cats like pumpkin but hey anything decent they will eat is ok with me. The thing they don't like is the long strands of chicken, they lick off all the sauce and leave big clumps of chicken. I'll probably chop it up for them the next time I serve it. Could also use more broth/sauce.

Beware the protein content in this- leads to kidney failure in cats!
I really wish I had known more before feeding this to my cats. They both loved Weruva, all flavors, and yes, the ingredients are quality...but after being on this for about two years, they both became seriously ill around the same time. They are both male, and young, with regularly visits to the vet. Suddenly, their kidneys were failing. Their levels were what you'd expect to see in an 18-year-old cat that's been fed dry food its whole life. They were both basically dying and no one could figure out why. One had to be hospitalized for several days. Finally, the vet looked at their food, Weruva, and was shocked to see how much protein was in it. She basically told me this food is formulated like the Atkins diet and is very unsafe for cats. I switched their food, and gave them regular fluid treatments at home, along with having them on kidney failure meds and several other supplements. It took months to improve their kidney function, and they'll never be perfectly normal again, but luckily I had a vet. Before you think of feeding this to your pets, ask your vet. REALLY ask them. I don't expect anyone to simply believe one review, but seriously. Check with your doctor. Obviously, if you're willing to spend this much money on cat food, then you love your cat! Ask the doctor and show them the nutritional information. Or find out yourself on the internet. Don't take the risk and watch your pets suffer, because it's not fun. It's also not fun having to hook them up to IV bags.

excellent grain-free and carrageenan-free cat food!
Both my cats absolutely love this food (and all the flavors of Cats in the Kitchen that I've tried). I've been feeding it for about 6 months, along with Wellness Core grain-free dry food. (Before that they were eating EVO wet and dry food, but I had concerns over the fact that EVO had been bought by Proctor and Gamble, who have a history of ruining good pet food brands once they take over.) I did a lot of research to find a wet food that was both grain free and carrageenan free (carrageenan is a bulking agent that has been linked to GI issues.) All the Cats in the Kitchen flavors are both grain- and carrageenan-free, with no animal byproducts. The food looks and smells very high quality (does not have a strong smell), and although most of the food is shredded meat or pate consistency, you can see some chunks of seafood in the seafood flavors. I haven't had any issues at all with stomach upset. I've noticed that my overweight 9-year-old cat has lost a few pounds since switching their food and is much more energetic and playful. It's definitely a bit pricey, but in this case you get what you pay for.

OUR cats will not eat it
Granted, cats are finicky. I personally didn't taste it. The neighbor cats who come here to sponge extra meals love it.

My kitties and foster kitties LOVE this food
This is my go-to kitty food. My cats absolutely go nuts over this food, and out of the Weruva flavors we have tried, this seems to be the FAVE. I'm a vegetarian, so the texture is kind of a lot for me to deal with, it looks kind of like freshly cooked and shredded chicken, it isn't a generic looking pate type of food at all. BUT I think that's why my kitties love it.I also fed this to several foster kitties, and they got "spoiled" on it to the point where they wouldn't eat anything OTHER than Funk in the Trunk!
