This lace fabric is so soft and will absolutely try to slide onto the floor as you're cutting it if it isn't fully on your table. It has fantastic drape, any swoopy dresses or skirts will look great in this.The scalloped design is on both long edges and both short edges have a section of netting that curls up, it's almost like a selvedge edge. If you're using this as a tablecloth you could just leave it as is or put a proper hem on it if you prefer.This is such a big piece of lace and not at all scratchy, way nicer than the cheap lace my local fabric and craft chain carries, so it ends up being a pretty reasonable price per yard. Overall I'm very happy with this and think it would work well for a variety of apparel and home decor projects.

Beautiful fabric, but it does look more like a tablecloth than something I would use for apparel.
