Q: i am looking for a part that will act as a temp sending unit and a fan switch in one. trying to utilize one port for two devices

One end is for temp reading other is to trigger fan at the preset

Q: how can i prevent this from cycling the relay so often? Electric cooling fan relay cycles constantly and burn out fast? Any suggestions?

you need to check your entire cooling system first, dont assume that its ok. your coolant mixture, radiator and cap, termostat and water pump, upper and lower hoses. fan relays. search the internet for problem flunctuating temperature for your engine. i dont have any problems burning out my fan relays. good luck

Take the at their word, that would be a MAX 120W fan or other device in a 12V system. A 1550CFM fan kit here is rated at 80W.

Q: How many amps is the switch rated to handle?

What Stefan said is really all you need, but to elaborate anyway, the current required to activate the 80-90Ω coil circuit of a 12v auto relay shouldn't be more than 0.15-0.2 amps. This switch can surely handle many times that, but you shouldn't install it directly in a 12v electric fan circuit anyway. Automotive fans may draw 20-40amps which is probably more than you should trust ANY thermoswitch to handle; so use it to activate a 12v automotive relay instead.
