well-written, good research job that develops some new sources. But this (English) author reaches the same old (English) conclusions: the Evil Huns spun our peace-loving planet - particularly the famously peace-loving French, English, and Russians and the vast Empires they built with such absolute peacableness - into a catastrophic world war. In short, don't waste your time or money on this tired treatise.

Written by an Australian which has a different perspective of events but does ask questions (of which we will never know the answers).
