worth the investment for a good recovery
I just ordered the HOMBYS BBL Bed After Surgery for my recovery from Brazilian Butt Lift surgery, and I'm very happy with my choice. The foam is dense enough to provide great support and the hole is placed right in the area where you can comfortably sleep without putting pressure on your enhanced areas. The size is 67x22x6.3 inches, which makes it just the right size for being placed on my bedroom, leaving enough room to feel comfortable. What I love most about the removable cover is how very easy it is to maintain and clean during my recovery, and that would mean a lot to me. Overall, this BBL mattress has significantly improved my recovery experience. The mattress is firm but comfortable enough to keep me in the right position while I sleep. I completely recommend this bed to others who will go through something similar; it's worth the investment for a good recovery.

Very comfortable.
I did not get a BBL but I do have a really bad back and thought having my hip go into the hole would help with keeping my spine straight and the pressure off. I was very happy to find that I was right and my sleep has been so much better. My awake time is, too, because my back isn't as bad throughout the day. I did lay on my back as well which is something I haven't been able to do for years. This would be great for BBLs but also for back pain. It's made of good-quality foam and has a soft, well-made cover. My Review Criteria: I do not review anything that I don't want/need for my own personal use and I have enough knowledge about it to provide accurate and useful details. I do tell it like it is and I am not influenced to provide feedback that isn't based on facts or my own experience. Therefore you can trust my unbiased review as if I were a friend looking out for your best interest and that of your hard-earned money.

Sleeping with Holes
Okay, so, let’s talk about this… mattress. Yes, this is a thing, apparently. It’s a massive… foam… structure with a hole in it. A hole! Who needs a hole in their mattress? Well, apparently, someone who’s had some… work done. The point is, I needed something…supportive. And this, this thing, is certainly supportive. It’s like sleeping on a very particular, black cloud. It keeps you… elevated. In a good way. The removable cover is allegedly machine washable, though I’m not sure I’m ever letting it near a machine again. It's a bit cumbersome, like trying to wrangle a beached whale, but it does what it’s supposed to. It’s… it’s…fine. Perfectly fine. And the sheer bulk of it makes it a great barricade against the… outside. Yeah.

Comfortable Support for Someone With a Large Backside
I have a large backside which makes sleeping on my back uncomfortable. It forces my hips too far forward so sleeping on my back leaves me with pain the next morning.I decided to try out this pad to see if it would be a good solution. For me, it worked very well. It's as tall as a regular twin mattress but about 6 inches smaller in width(it takes up about half of a queen bed). There is a removable pillow in the backside area that allows your rear to settle in comfortably which relieves pressure on your backside. My concern was that the hole is a sudden drop off. I worried that there would be too much pressure at the edge of the hole. However, the mat is made of a foam that gives easily enough to ease the transition but isn't so soft that it lets you sink too far down. It's quite comfortable.I'm short, closer to 5 ft, and the hole is in a good location for my derriere. The pad has a soft, velvety cover which many people like. I'm not a fan of this texture so I throw a twin fitted sheet over it instead and it seems to stay on well enough. All in all, I feel like I'm sleeping better with this pad. I would definitely recommend it for back sleepers that have an unwieldy rear end.

Perfect for surgery
I got this to have for after my surgery so I wouldnt always have to sleep on my stomach. This is very comfortable and provides great support for after surgery. It comes vacuum sealed so after opening I let it air out for about a day and a half, after which I was confident it reached it's full size. I also appreciate that the cover is removable in case there is any fluid leakage. Great to add to your after surgery must haves!
