Dangerous on hard wet surfaces not remotely waterproof or resistant.
First, the good. They are incredibly comfortable and seem to be well constructed. They have fantastic, surefooted grip on loose ground and wet grass. Now the bad:1: They are not remotely waterproof or even water resistant. I walked through damp, 6 inch grass for 15 seconds and my feet are soaking wet.2: On wet tarmac, concrete, cement and manhole covers they are dangerous. On a 10 minute walk in the rain today I slipped twice on tarmac (!!), the second time slightly spraining my wrist as I fell over. This is not acceptable, any walking shoe should be able to deal with such a tractable surface as wet tarmac.I had such high hopes for these shoes, unfortunately these are now gone. I have asked for an immediate refund.

Not waterproof and poor grip!
The search for a waterproof boot seems remarkably hard to find. The reviews on these were very good so I bought them based on that. I wore these three times for dog walking and these seemed good, until it rained, so wet grass and pathways. My feet were wet at the front and there was very poor grip and slipped but didn't fall thank goodness, but def not safe or as advertised re waterproof. I don't understand how manufacturers can say a boot is waterproof when it isn't.

So good I bought 2 more pairs!
This morning I noticed that my Knixmax shoes finally - after 11 months of pretty much daily wear, hiking with the dog, all weathers etc., that a hole had appeared on each show upper above my big toe joint.I paid £43.99 last October. I was so impressed they've lasted so well (and are so comfortable) that I bought a pair today in each colour (somehow, same day delivery!). Only then to find I had a £2 discount for buying 2 pairs. So not only were they cheaper than last time, I paid £78 for the two. You really can't go wrong.
