I purchased this item to rest my leg on when I go out socially. I have a disability where I can’t bend my leg, this step helps to keep the blood running correctly in my leg

A great addition to our home. We have a new kitchen and with the help of this step I can reach the top shelves.I was dubious as to whether it would hold up but after the first use I trust this step to help me reach the hard to reach cupboards, it's sturdier than you think.

It gives in the centre a little and I am 57K female so I feel that I have to hold on to the wall grip

Handy fold step stool, brilliant.

Good stool, and sturdy. Only negative is there is no handle to collapse the stool and hence tricky to close without getting your fingers squished!

Exactly what i wanted the most annoying thing is it comes with a big sticker on the side which you have so much trouble getting off then it leaves a horrible unsightly sticky mark which absolutely ruins it

I purchased this step specifically as it claims to be suited for up to 300lb load. I was very skeptical that a foldable plastic step would be sturdy but as I am well within the maximum load (I weigh 100kg/220lb) I thought it was worth a punt. I needed a step to access the upper cupboards in my new kitchen and it looked perfect as it folds pretty flat and would easily slip into the gap down the side of my fridge freezer when not needed. All was fine for the first 3-4 weeks - I used it probably 8 times during this period. However, it then randomly shattered without any warning when I stepped on it causing a graze to my ankle (not serious) and a nasty bruise on my upper arm where I stumbled into a door handle. Clearly this item is not capable of the load it proclaims and therefore is not fit for its advertised purpose. Fortunately my injuries were not serious as my hands were empty. I dread to think of what could happen to someone else who may be carrying something or may not be able to stop themselves falling to the floor.As this item is sold by a third party seller and I did not report this until just outside the 28 day return window, there was no automatic option to request a replacement or a refund. To their credit, as always, Amazon customer service was superb and authorised a full refund without any quibble.Back to my search for a quality sturdy compact step.
