Making Sense of the Common Core: How to Incorporate Math and ELA in Your K-5 Music Classroom

Very helpful if you plan on teaching CORE subjects in your music classroom. Until I am required by my district, I will continue to teach music content in my music classroom. I really don't need this book to help me connect teaching music to teaching reading, writing, math, science or history, or whatever CORE is about. I can make my own I Can statements.If the Common Core is up your alley, you might well like it. I've been teaching for over twenty years, and I just don't need one more thing to divert me from my primary purpose.
