Age of the Primes Silverbolt (review)
When I first pre-ordered this figure I believe it was last year, I was looking forward to it. Until it got cancelled back in April. I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to get this figure again until he was listed again on Amazon. He came at the end of June which I was happy to get him. He arrived on time and the box he came in wasn't damaged. The Aerialbots is one of my favorite combiner team so happy to have him. He looks really good alongside both Slingshot and Air Raid. He has great articulation, scales well next to the other Aerialbots and he had an eyes transformation. i haven't transformed him into Superion until I get Fireflight and Skydive. But overall I would recommend this figure if you are a fan of the Aerialbots.

Best Silverbolt to date
This is easily the best Silverbolt we've gotten to date. Making the Superion shell into a piece of base and ship add on is kinda genius. The bot mode is as posable as you'd expect from any figure that comes out, especially commander class, and the transformation is simple and dare i say fun. He's toon accurate and fits well on anyone's shelf. The Superion mode is stable, posable, and totally secure when combined which was the issue during CW. I'm looking forward to getting the last 2 pieces to finish the set.

Best Commander!
I'd give this figure 10 stars if I could. I love everything about it. I love the the alt mode, I love the combiner parts added to the alt mode to give it a boost, I love the robot mode, and the combined mode. The transformation is fun, yet simples. They haven't re-invented the wheel, but they've swapped from all seasons to snows. I'm looking forward to the eventual G2 set, and Commander Onslaught some time next year.

Good addition to the combiners team
Not all people like the new AotP Superion. However, as a toy, this Commander Silverbolt is well-designed, having an awesome and massive space-shuttle mode, and the combiner skeleton is decent and faithful to its G1 cartoon. In addition, the plastic quality is great, both modes are hefty and articulation is right - not too tight, not too loose.

Aireal bots Combine.
Ohh ho ho ho ho ho,let’s get it started,as of lately, the modern transformers feel like they return to their “Prime” like the good old days but with modern articulation,it scales nicely with my other transformers and the articulation is alright, just missing the wrist swivel. But it’s a combiner,so it forms the torso of the mighty Superion.

Excellent details, tight joints, and simple yet fun transformation
Silverbolt is back true to form. Excellent G1 rendition and tight joints make this a winner. His face sculpt is great. Looks exactly like he did in the G1 show. He looks like he stepped out of the screen but in smaller size 😀.The plastic feels of high quality but what stands out more for me is the tightness of his joints and how he is put together. The pins and joints hold all the limbs well together. In the recent past, Transformer figures had been suffering with loose and floppy joints but this figure is a fortunate exception! He is definitely fun, I will say that.I guess the real only cons are his size and back pack, but they are nit-picks. He is so well made, I wish he was taller. Maybe 8" instead of 6.75". His proportions are almost perfect too.In robot mode, the plane fuselage is very visible but only if you turn him around or see him from the side. It's not bad at all though. His wings even fold backward so I can hide it and that makes his outline sleeker and more streamlined. However, with his wings open, that is his true G1 depiction. Both ways look excellent.Transformation is fun and straightforward. Everything goes well where it belongs and he has minimal gaps. The only real ones are under his forearms but they are hard to notice unless you look for them under his arms. The heel spurs are an excellent detail - they come out far enough to give him fantastic stability due to his alt mode back pack. I almost gave him 5 stars. If Hasbro continues on this path, I will definitely purchase the Combaticons as well. Thank you, Amazon and thank you Hasbro for a job well done. The box arrived in excellent condition too. Have a great day!

Highly recommend.
Highly recommend for your collection only issues i have is was expecting it to be 2 inches bigger is only 12 1/2 inches minor issue, in design is the weapon not like original and doesn't look or work well, and breaking the arm jets having to split apart easy risk of breakage don't get me wrong superion is still excellent piece.

Great figure
This is a great figure. Thankfully my figure has not had any issues like I have seen from a few online. The transformation was pretty easy to do. The only thing i will say is when removing the arm be gentle and do it slowly so you do not break it. I can't wait to get the other 2 jets and complete the combiner.
