Asics Gt-2000 9 Knit mens Running Shoe

Item received with clear marks of glue on the sides and doesn’t seem to original due to poor finishing

Very good price and delivery. Perfect fit. I use them for walking. They are lightweight and comfortable. I have used them during my walks. No problems at all. I bought the black with the white asics stripes. Really cool looking. I would like to buy a pair in white with the black stripes but can’t find any yet. Anyway well worth the price.

Asics GT-2000 was a stability shoe in the past which could be used for fast training. Unfortunately, this version is unstable. The use of PureGel in this shoe makes the heel too soft. PureGel is placed on the top of the midsole and this soft version feels like you are sinking into the midsole with each step. This then means you have to climb up to the midfoot area. Runners who run on the forefoot won't notice this but 80% of runners are heel strikers. This squishy heel makes your ankle work harder and slows you down when running. I am a fan of Asics and also use Asics Cumulus as my recovery day shoe. This shoe is only good for going slow for short distances.

From the first time I put these on my feet I have been in love with them. No breaking in, no painful few weeks of getting g the show accustom to my feet. Great comfort and quality.
