The idea behind this concept is truly adorable as my little one loves coloring and personalizing her items. However I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the markers. Three out of the six immediately frayed after use and two never worked. I eventually decided to purchase additional markers, from another company, in order to finish the project. I would rate this as one star; however the umbrella itself is nice and the overall project is fun to do with your child.

My daughter was very excited about this, however it broke before she could finish coloring it. I'd give it zero stars for durability.

Fun and useful art project
Great gift. We needed a new umbrella and my daughter really enjoyed coloring one that was especially for her. She loves using it too.

Perfect for my granddaughter
I knew that my 6 year old granddaughter would enjoy her own umbrella, so I shopped on line before her birthday. I had no idea a kit like this existed and was delighted to find it. She was thrilled and colored it within two days and has carried it multiple times, getting lots of compliments. So far it has held up splendidly. (Knock on wood.)Couldn't be happier.

Fun umbrella, but could be more sturdy
My girls love these umbrellas and they always get compliments when we are out. I wish they could be a little better made as they seem to bend easily.

Schirm zu Bemalen
Dieser Schirm ist eher für kleine Kinder geeignet. Es müssen lediglich die vorgedruckten Motive ausgemalt werden, was ich beim Bestellen nicht gesehen habe. Meine Tochter wäre lieber selber kreativ gewesen, deshalb ging er zurück.

Colours run in the rain
Colours ran the first time the umbrella was used in the rain. I bought these as presents and although the children enjoyed the colouring, how disappointing that the 'permanent' colours ran in the rain. How pointless!
