Fellowes Std Underdesk Keyboard Drawer

This tray was purchased to replace one of similiar type which had finally broken at the corner, after 3 years of shoving it in and pulling it out from under the desk.The ad' said it was platinum in colour; it is in fact a very, very pale mushroom. Fitting is easy but has to be done from under the desk and provided you site the track supports so the whole structure is square, it will open and close easily.A solid simple product that does the job well, with plenty of space to store pens etc alongside the key board. If this tray lasts for another 3 years before breaking, I will certainly consider buying another one as a replacement.

This is a piece of moulded plastic on two standard drawer runners. Fitting on a plan desk would not be too bad, but on a knee hold desk is murder, you can't get too the holes to mark them and getting a screwdriver in is very difficult.How much easier if they gave you a simple paper plan to stick to the surface and pre-drill. The instructions say use a 1/4" drill to pre drill, if you do the screws will be under size!. To cap it all the wretched thing rattles when you type.All in all a bad and expensive buy.

The keyboard lights up at the touch of a button, very useful, as I have problem seeing individual keys. Now the problem is solved. Regards Juliusz
