A: 840 watts and 0 to 900 rpm's. I have used this drill hard for the best part of a year now and it has done everything I have ask of it.

**Q: How much torque does the Black&Decker DR560 have?**
A: It is a Variable speed to 900 rpm,  some other drills go to 2700 rpm for drilling quickly.  This is designed for higher torque to drive screws into Wood.  Need a Hammer drill for drilling masonry. though this with a Carbide drill would do a passable job.  It would be good for driving screw into masonry anchors.  Get Faster drill for drilling metal.
