Olyra: Raspberry Fruit Bars (12), Organic Low Sugar High-Fiber Snack

Delicious organic fruit bars mixed with fig. Good fiber and healthy snack that is individually wrapped. Both raspberry and blueberry are good.

Well these exceeded my expectations! I enjoy their breakfast bars and thought I’d check these out. These raspberry bites are delicious. No weird flavor and I don’t find them to be overly sweet. The cookie part is not sweetened. I love the fiber and protein content. I’m so pleased with the raspberry flavor that I just ordered the blueberry and strawberry! The box I received is fresh with a best by date of 12/26. The bites themselves are soft and not crumbly. I’m thrilled that I recognize and can pronounce every ingredient. If your expectation is that these would be a substitute for newtons, you should consider yourself warned. Although they are along the same lines, these are not filled with artificial flavors, tons of sugar, dyes and corn syrup. They are NOT the same! Personally, I’ve tried every flavor now. I enjoy them all!

Nice biscuit bars for a breakfast snack. Expensive, but occasional treat! Good amount of filling.

These are my go-to breakfasts for traveling. Small, individually wrapped, with plenty of fiber, which tends to be hard to get when we’re on the road and just making quick stops for food and fuel. They’re also very tasty. Soft, not dry, and not overly sweet like some similar products. I’ve enjoyed all the Olyra products I’ve tried, and these are one of my favorites.

Updated: pretty upset with Olyra. Not only have they discontinued their only item I really liked, they brought these to market which aren't nearly as good. It also looks like they got rid of the raspberry, which was the only decent flavor. WARNING TO OTHERS: if you're like me and you buy these for fiber, don't buy the other fruit bars by Olyra. They are advertised exactly the same as these, they look identical, but they only have 3g of fiber. I thought I was getting overpriced fiber bars, but instead I got obscenely priced garbage that I won't even eat. I've had so many problems with this company. I went from loving them, to warning others. They've sent me expired bars several times. They've sent me the wrong items multiple times. And when they were still making the Soft Baked Bites, the packages often only had one bite, instead of two. I've put up with so many bad purchases with this company because I liked their product. But now, I'm just angry at how much I've wasted on not getting what I've paid for. BUYER BEWARE. I really love this company and their snacks. That being said, recently I haven't been able to get my hands on their Soft Baked Bites. I really love the Soft Baked Bites. The bites are head and shoulders above these. I really hope the bites aren't discontinued. These bars are okay. They're dryer and the flavors isn't as good as the bites. These are like a dry Nutragrain bar with less fruit. But I buy them because of the fiber content. I do think they're expensive for what they are, especially since the recipe is worse than the bites. I used to be able to purchase the bites from Whole Foods, but they haven't been available. Regular Amazon is currently only carrying these. And the price is worse on regular Amazon. I really hope Olyra brings back the Soft Baked Bites. If not, I might have to go back to flaxseed or find another, more affordable option.

The box that the fruit bars came in was the manufacturer's package and it was not sealed. Anyone could have opened it and tampered with the fruit bars. Fortunately they were individually wrapped and did not appear to be tampered with. I have had these bars before and they are delicious. However, I am leary of eating these. Insist on double packaging if you buy these. They are an excellent product.

I was surprised at how good these are! Texture is like a Fig Newton, but the raspberry filling was even better. I shared these with my dietitian, and she approved of them as a great source of fiber.
