Great test light
Very well built test light and does exactly what it's supposed to! Love the compact size and bright incandescent bulb. Needle tip has a threaded end and comes with an alligator clip.

ONE OF THE BEST TEST LIGHTS AVAIABLE
This design of test light is nearly perfect, and is an amazing value. The quality of the light and cable are really good, and it feels great in your hand. It is able to easily maneuver into tight spots and has become one of my favorite/most used test lights. The provided light bulb is adequate for most uses, but can also be easily replaced with various other options for custom current requirements.I guess OTC has recently discontinued this light???? IF SO I BEG THEM TO RESUME MAKING THEM!

Nice, compact light
A bit pricy, but it's a nice, compact "NON LED" 12 volt test light

Best test light around! Throwing my LED test light away.
What a great test light! This should be in every mechanics tool box, from beginners to professionals. I am a professional mechanic, and I purchased this after years of using an LED test light (shown in picture two).I immediately tested the amp draw of the OTC test light vs a snapon one (nothing wrong with that one by the way) and it proves a incandescent bulb is because it draws .156mA of current. The LED test light only draws 0.048mAThe construction of this test light is better than expected, and the coiled wire will not be an issue, it is very flexible and stretches far with ease. The Snapon coiled wire always pulls off when you rug it slightly, but the OTC has a great alligator clip that is easy to compress and has a tremendous bite to it. I am very impressed considering I paid 80 bucks for the Snapon one. What a rip!

Awesome little test light
I love the small size of this light. My only gripe is the light isn’t very bright, and if your hand covers the bulb, it’s hard to see it illuminate.

Coil cord is ok nowadays.
I was debating between this one and the noncoiled OTC test light1: I told myself 20 years ago I'd never buy anything coiled again because it usually pulls off you ground connection's too easy.2: i found out that my coworker had a coiled test light so I borrowed it.3: I noticed that the modern coil has flexible rubber vs the earlier ones and that it was longer.4: I ordered this one because it is a Mini one vs the straight cord OTC.5: when it arrived I decided to stretch it out overnight to make it even longer. You can see the midle of the coil vs both ends in the photo to get an idea of what it did.6: I would recommend to a friend and im very satisfied.
