BrooksWomen’s Ghost Max 2 Neutral Running & Walking Shoe

The Brooks Ghost Max 2 shoe is the very best walking shoe for me after having plantar facitis . It has good support, cushioning, and the toe bed is wide enough . This is my third pair of Ghost 2, as it’s comfortable for walking or being on your feet all day, and it’s a good looking shoe. I would suggest to go up 1/2 size. Love the color of these!! I had worn ASICS for years, but have switched to these as they give more stability and arch support with my foot problems.

I’ve tried so many sneakers over the years, but these are hands-down the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. From the moment I put them on, I could tell they were different—plenty of cushioning, great arch support, and no pressure points. I can walk in them all day with zero pain or fatigue, even on long shifts when I'm walking all day during work.What really impressed me is how tough they are. I've been wearing them daily for months—rain, rough terrain and sidewalks—and they still look and feel like new. Love this model! Did not need for break in. Worn it at work on a 12-hour shift at the hospital, and I was so surprised that my feet did not get blistered, nor did I have pain from my bunions which was what made me throw away my goclove shoes. Though it was not as cushiony nor had bounce when walking, it was roomy enough that my feet felt relaxed even if I was on my feet for most of the 12 hours that I worked. Definitely recommend this for people with feet problems and for those looking for wide width shoes.

The is my first pair of Brooks shoes and I'm impressed. The fit is perfect and they are the MOST comfortable shoe I have ever owned! Everything about them is impressive, the fit, the comfort, the arch support, durability and slip resistance. I only wish they would make a cute hiking boot with all the features of this shoe. It has a wide toe box which is amazing and comfortable. This is a great comfortable shoe.

The Brooks Ghost is good not great. The size is correct but the fit is roomy. I am 5'1" 112 lbs and regularly wear a 7 1/2 regular. I prefer a good arch and a shoe that shapes around my foot with still room in the toe area. The Ghost feels a bit roomy all over even with tightening down the laces. It is sturdy and comfortable but not as cushioning as other shoes I have had.

Ghost Max 2, 11.5 extra wide women’s - I am so impressed. I cannot ever recall having such great shoes before. I have returned many pairs of shoes recently trying to find what fits, or out of desperation keeping what’s close to fitting as I cannot find anything to fit. Here’s how I finally found my size: I was referred to a reflexologist who specialized in foot pain. As you age she said your feet get bigger. This can be in length, width, or both. Hit this old gals ego hard. A person can be buying the shoe that they wore as a teenager and have become so used to the fit that they can no longer figure out that the shoes to small. That was me. Neither a podiatrist, ND nor chiropractor told me this. I didn’t believe it! How could this be? Vanity here. So she had me wear the socks I usually wear, which I later discovered were also too small, and stand on cardboard, with all my weight on one foot while a friend traced around my foot, one at a time. Simple this, if the pattern will not slide into the shoe you need a bigger shoe; however if it fits you still need to add 1/4” to the length and 1/8” to the side for a proper fit as your foot expands when full weight is put upon it. Now I wear orthotics so had to still go a size larger. I removed the insole for my custom made one even though it felt good. At first I felt stupid, and that I had clown feet, but I put the shoes on and I’m feel’n so good I may never take them off and plan get get another pair despite the fee. It’s worth it. I don’t hurt any more!

LOVE THEM! So comfortable, great looking and true to size. My doctor recommended these shoes and am glad she did!

This is the second ghost max 2 sneaker I have purchased. Wearing them is like walking on a cloud. They are perfect for the gym and walking. Not sure I would use these for running as they are a bit heavy. My only complaint about this particular one is that I thought it would be more light pink and it was nearly white. So, essentially I got a black and white sneaker, which isn't really what I wanted. On the image it looked like a light pink but in reality it's almost white. The only reason I took off a star was because the colors in the image were deceiving. The sneaker itself I give 5 stars for sure! It is a very durable shoe. I bought the last pair in August and wore them for 6 months. I average about 40 miles on a month in them, so I easily got about 500 miles out of them. I still plan on wearing them as the tread is still decent, but some of the cushion is gone which is why I replaced them. These are similar to Hoka's as far as cushion goes but much lighter and more comfortable.
