I’ve been using this wax melter for my candle projects, and it’s made things much simpler. I bought this primarily for wax melting to make candles and wax melts- as you would assume. It does a great job of this, giving you two heat settings and melting wax quickly but evenly on both settings. The pourable spout also makes it so much easier to pour your wax into moulds or containers. The quality of the melter is good- sturdy and made to last.However, you can actually use this for so much more. You could legitimately use this as a mini slow cooker to make soup or chilli for example or even rice. I've only tested it with a bit of chicken, stock and veg but it made for a really tasty soup for one. I won't be doing this all the time as I have a slow cooker but it's a cool option to have.

I have been wanting a more efficient way of making candles and this wax melting pot is the ideal solution I’ve been looking for! It’s easy to use and it makes less mess than my previous way of melting wax on stove. The pouring spout makes things easier.I like that it’s not too big so doesn’t take up too much room. It’s also means that I don’t have to make candles in my kitchen anymore, I can make them wherever’s most convenient.Although I haven’t yet tried it, I think this melting pot would also be good for melt and pour soak making too - so it has some versatility.It appears to be comparatively priced with other similar melting pots on Amazon.Overall, I am pleased with it.

1.5L Wax Melting Pot with spout.Simple but cheaply made Wax Melter. There's 2x settings 300W or 600W and an overheat function. Not sure when that kicks in, but you do have to remain and keep watch with this unit and physically turn off when you're done.I'd have expected a timer on this for the 42 quid price tag though.I'll most likely use it as a ramen noodle pot, or to just make soup. You could also use it as a slow cooker for one person on the lowest setting I suppose.

This is a far more convenient way to melt wax than on the stove top as it keeps mess to a minimum and makes candle making much easier. Even a full load melts completely within ten minutes and it’s very simple to use. The lid prevents splashes too.Well built and no negatives to report at all. This is a very good value item and a must for anyone making their own candles or wax melts.
