Great rangefinder
I doubt you can find a better unit for the price. I like the way it viabrates on the flagstick. I alwasy can get accurate measurements easily. I had an AOFAR previously and it lasted many years.

Solid rangefinder
Excellent for the price. Magnifying scope is clear, display is easy to read. Sometimes takes a couple tries to get flag lock, but verified with a much nicer scope that yardages were accurate ±1 yd. Instructions were decent, although the flag lock section was a bit confusing. The soft case is nice.A magnet on the side of the scope to attach to a golf cart would be nice, but for the price I can't complain.

Great Performance for the price
Pros- Very nice profile and hand feel. It is also very pretty compared to other brands and has a nice light weight to it- Compared to $300+ Bushnell range finder it was always within 2-3 yards and some of that user error- Very easy to use and intuitive- The case is very appealing and has a belt attachment that's easy to take on and off without having to take off your belt. It also has a double Velcro closing strip that feels very secure- One of the biggest things is the customer service guys will bend over backwards to make sure you are satisfied with the productCons- Once the light drops down it has a hard time locking to the flag, but it lasted pretty far into the sun dropping- There is a decimal place shown that while nice it feels unnecessary, and it sometimes distracted me at closer distances since 34.2 yards looks a lot like 342, but again that's really not a problem more than a FYII have used it for about a month and it has been very reliable. Bottom line for the price it delivers exactly what it promises and it is a great alternative to some of the much more expensive products on the market right now. If you're on your way to becoming a serious golfer this is the product for you.

Fast, Easy, Accurate
Finally had a chance to try out my new Aofar GX-6F Rangefinder, and it's amazing! It is so easy to use, and has proven to be extremely accurate, with consistent 'lock-on', regardless of the flagstick having a prism. Hands down, the Aofar GX-6F is the best value you can find on the market. From the compact size and excellent packaging, to the simplicity and accuracy, you won't find a better investment in improving your golf game. Very easy to use! Very low price! Almost instantaneous 'lock-on' that can find the flag stick every time, whether through trees or among similarly sized stands of saplings! I'm very excited with my purchase, considering it performs flawlessly and even better than two other "Top Brands", at a fraction of the price! I don't know how Aofar can sell this technology for the listed price, and still make money! I highly recommend the Aofar GX-6F Rangefinder to anyone looking to lower their scores. I've also found that it accurately ranges flagsticks and other various objects from much further than it advertises. If you're into research based purchases, then trust me and save your time....buy this Rangefinder and you'll be glad you did! The price is so great, that it makes for an amazing gift to the golfer in your family as well.

UPDATE: Not-So-Great Rangefinder for the Price.
Update - Sorry, I was slow on this update, After using the rangefinder for a month, I found a few things about this rangefinder that made using it cumbersome to nearly impossible.1. The readings can be off by as much as several yards when multiple readings are taken from the exact same spot to the exact same target. I could understand a yard, but not several. Not only that, when a friend with a similar model took readings when standing side-by-side, we could be off by more than 5 yards and up to 10 yards. This is unacceptable if you want pinpoint accuracy.2. When looking into a low-hanging sun, the glare makes it nearly impossible for the finder to lock on a flag. I tried cleaning the front of the finder thoroughly, but nothing helped. I did not experience this with my older unit which was range only (no slope).3. On misty mornings, the finder doesn't pick up the flag and provide measurements. All of them have this issue to some degree, but this one is the worst or most sensitive that I have seen.4. After using it on a half dozen outings, the unit has developed a problem in which it locks up after each reading. The power button stops working and nothing resets it other than removing the battery and reinserting it. Even allowing the unit to time out to turn it off does not resolve the lock-up. This was the last straw for me.Pay a little more for a better unit. This is obviously a case of, "you get what you pay for".Original review:I took this to the range today to give it a try. I have an old unit that doesn't have the slope functionality, so I broke them both out to compare range readings and to see what I needed the slope. I found that both units gave the same actual distances, but the slope information gave me the data I needed. The range isn't level, so I found the effective distances to be off by as much as 5 yards hitting to some pins, explaining why I wasn't getting the distance results I had expected when changing clubs and hitting these different pin placements. This is very valuable information when trying to learn your club yardages.

Difficulty locking onto flags
I brought this out to the course as soon as I got it and was disappointed by the performance. I had a hard time locking onto flags. The range finder a lot of the times would lock onto trees behind the flag and give inaccurate measurements. When I was able to get it locked on the accuracy was almost perfect. If this was more consistent I would’ve rated it much higher.
