Definitely not genuine, feels cheap.Bought as a replacement for the smart remote which came with the tv and isn’t even close.Works fine for now.

Doesn't work

I have the original from Samsung in my hotel room, thankfully on holiday. The most useless remote control ever made. To change the channel, 3 button presses in a specific order. To change the volume? No idea, there is a volume button, which mutes the TV. Press it again and the volume leave comes up, but there is no way to change it. Absolutely rubbish. Thankfully I have a Sony at home. Boo to Samsung, tried to reinvent the wheel; made a triangle.
