Great product

I've used these for years to remove any funny taste from my well water and change 'em about every six months. Well made, much cheaper than my unit's manufacturer's. An exact fit. Buying in bulk saves you money. Very satisfied.

I purchased these filters a few months ago as a more economical replacement for the Aqua Pure AP117 filters. My Aquapure whole house filter takes two of them, stacked inside the stainless steel housing. When they arrived I noticed that while the Aquapure filters have perimeter holes both top and bottom of each filter, the AquaCrest filters only had perimeter holes at one end. There were also slight differences with AquaPure filters in the geometry of the rubber gasket assemblies at the ends of the filters.There were some sketchy directions in the shipping box and I attempted to install the filters -they did not mate with the housing properly- the filters were a bit too long overall and I could not close the housing.I then contacted the seller and they were at a loss. They really had zero technical knowledge of the filters and merely spooled drivel about my satisfaction and happiness, both of which were lacking. Eventually someone came online and said that the AquaCrest filters were in fact not compatible with AquaPure AP117 dual filter housings and they gave me my money back.Long story short-Stay away from these filters if you have an AquaPure Dual Filter/Whole House Filter Assembly-They are not true replacements for the AP 117 Filters by AquaPure and will not fit.

I have used these filters for some time now. If you want better tasting water, this is the one. But it may reduces your water pressure. You should have better tasting water for it
